I've uploaded a bunch of 1941 stuff lately on my YouTube channel.
Please check the 0:09 mark of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqljwR13kAs
You'll see me access the "Control Setup" screen. This is where you assign the buttons. You'll see the words "Rapid Shot", which is auto-fire. It's available only if you assign a button for it. Under default settings, auto-fire is not enabled. Only "Shoot" and "Loop" are assigned buttons. The reason it shows a button (R1) assigned to it is because I had already made multiple attempts so my settings were saved.
To summarize, auto-fire is an option made available by the game but default settings have it turned off.
So I have a question about 1941 on the Capcom Classics Colection vol.2 --
you requested [Autofire Allowed]. Is this a feature in the options, allowing you to turn autofire on or off? And also, which is the default setting?
Yeah he removed today, after GTi posted a link on how the score trick was done and then pasted the twin galaxies rules on robocop that specifically state that it's banned method
Have you seen the resubmitted robocop score in MAME? 1.5million. I'm not sure what to make of it other than its a cheated score. The video and screenshot match now
I clicked on the link back when you first messaged me, so I knew to what you were referring. There are multiple reasons why I could not participate, but I'd rather not discuss it on here. That's why I suggested email in case you ever wanted to talk about it.
Around the time you asked/invited me, I had 1 or 2 others approach me as well. Had I been able to participate, then I would have. I'm grateful that some of you considered me. After viewing the list of games, I can't really say whether or not I would have been much help to the team though.
Derek,
I apologize for not responding to this message. If you want to discuss it further, then please send me an email. I believe we exchanged email addresses months ago.
Glad to hear you have it figured out, derek. Good luck on your runs.
derek,
I used Windows Movie Maker to record. The Dazzle was hooked up to the television and my PC. It didn't matter how small the window was on the desktop monitor as I was using the appropriate console and playing it on a television. I did not use the software that came with the Dazzle. I remember checking it out the first day I bought it and was instructed by smarter people to not bother with it. I chose to just plug-n-play. My operating system at the time was Windows XP SP3, I believe. I don't know much about the succeeding operating systems. If you're still having trouble, then my best advice would be to check out YouTube for possible guides.
I got a qeustion for you,
I remember you said you recorded some of your game footage with a dazzle, what software did you use to record? I got a dazzle (old version) the other day and it came with pinnacle studio 12 as the software, which would be fine because it works but I can't play in fullscreen while recording. In fact the window that shows the footage while recording is like 4inx4in with no way to change it which isn't gonna work. Im using a older laptop (2010) running windows 7 for all my classic gaming, got any advice on the dazzle and software?
It seems to be scrolled off on my end.
How bout your end?
