hmmm. I tried myself. can you send me the picture? (on Discord; drag & drop in a private chat)
Hey Frankie, for the LU picture upload error. Can you try to upload the without any brackets. Probably that gives the error. [ ]
Played with RANes and my 8bitDo bluetooth controller.
I enjoyed this more than Super Mario. (You don't slide)
Actually my first try out on a Mario Bros game. Very low score
I ordered a modded PAL to NTSC NES console. Sadly it will take 3 weeks to deliver. But this will complete my 8b/16b NTSC machines. It makes a complete difference playing in NTSC; We as PAL users always missed that speed.
Yes
I am not that fond on Pac man but I'll give it a try the coming days. Good initiative. We certainly should suggest some more competition with the new site http://www.lvlupscore.com/dashboard
Hi Omar,
New website in progress.

I already sent you and Frankie some week ago an invite on Discord
Thanks Larquey.
As you know we are setting up a new website. Care to join as game admin? Just ping me for which game platform you like to administer. Cheers.
Nice homebrew game flawed by some jiffy control respons.
4 items collected (see little computer screen right corner), zero lives, first round = 4
Another little game from the compilation 'Don't buy this'. Messed up my initials.
lol. while typing my initials i pushed the break key and the BASIC listing appeared.
This game is part of a compilation named 'Don't buy this' :)
LittleJester is building a new high score site. Have a look at the draft http://highscore.retro-brothers.com/dashboard

We are working on a new website. Where we are in control and have finally some management tools. You can join us at: https://discord.gg/zE5mu855
We are at the beginning of a new journey :)
Any suggestions or help is welcome. It will still be community driven; so yes, there still will be 'no' votes but we will certainly lower the required 'yes' votes q to get your score validated.
Don't stop posting, we need people :)
Don't worry too much. As of 5 no votes it doesn't go through. Typically for a first place some people demand a video.
+1 here

Playing this on my +2 gave me an annoying graph glitches where your pacman flies across the screen...
There is a grid of 9 squares that you need to protect and clear (activate). The 2 activated sectors are seen in white (or in the purple text). So 2 sectors activated * 100.000 + my score of 36725=236725.
Crash was rather harsh for this game. Not Ultimates best but graphics are very detailed and smooth. Only the concept isn't so much my cup of tea
Indeed. But some people just whizz through everything like nothing. But the game only has 8 screens or so. For every hostage you've gotta to do the same over & over again.
The C64 was totally different. Also difficult but more fun.
Made in to Level 6. Takes a while to know how you've gotta move. A rather nice 16k game.
You can easily top the score if you go back and forth on the first 'switch' you fire. But my best fair score is 225. Crash gave this is a Crash Smash. blimey...
The best part is the loading screen. Apparently a free gift back in 87 when you bought a whopper.
I was lost and had to go. So I quit the game. Just a pity that enemies re-appear everytime you enter the room again...
Much tougher than on the 8bit computers.
Modded my GBC with a new LCD screen:
https://www.retromodding.com/products/mcwills-game-boy-color-lcd-upgrade
At least I can play in bed now :)
Man this is one frustratingly game. Only played till difficulty 2. 1475 is the maximum score on difficulty 1.
Uploading some older PSP games. This 'Future' mode one I didn't like. o monoteous after 1 minute already. The Classic mode is much better.
Score is tiny but visible left up.
I gave up after some attempts. I can't seem to handle the controls to shoot diagonally at the mines..0.0.0.
Hi, just wanted to say that this is not in the correct category. This is Space Shuttle 2016 and not the classic Space Shuttle. Yeah...Zaccaria makes tons of different versions. Guess to earn some money. I know this as I have all classic and original tables on PC Steam but stopped buying thev DLCs of all their remakes. It became just too silly. Which the 2016 version is one of. You scores more points etc ...
So I am just skipping now and will vote yes if you submit under correct category.
Cheers
Wrong game. Watch the current Hi score before submitting.
It is an early conversion from the Commodore PET. Not bad.
First time I played although I saw the ads back then in Crash. The manal says you must press space to see the map. But apparently on the +2 that doesn't work so I couldn't the exit .
You can play it through RA. There are achievements for this game (on emulation)
https://retroachievements.org/game/2265
An odd font makes it difficult to read. I thought this game would be better.
As usual no hi score table on those Adventure Island games.
grrrr. Must i come that far to play the last three levels without my axe....damn it
So just post all your Wii virtual console games .under http://highscore.com/games/WiiVirtualConsole/....
Happy gaming
Yes. It is considered as emulation. As not played on a genuine NES
Even if it is an official bought game. It is played as emulation. For the WII store games, i see this site has separate tracks: so you should posted here:
http://highscore.com/games/WiiVirtualConsole/Burgertime/67947
Rules are mentioned at the Top of the game:
If you play the original ROM with a flashcard on a genuine NES, that is considered as playing genuine hardware. This is how this this site made the rules a decade ago or so.
Rules: Play with default settings unless otherwise specified. No saves. No continues. 1 player mode only. No hacked ROMs. No cheat codes or passwords. No crooked cartridge use. Must be played on an authentic NES or Famicom console.
Hope it is clear. I have not voted a no because I first want to explain and give new comers a chance to post correctly. As this site has zero management admin. And we can't correct scores or move them once they are going through...
And welcome here
You said it was achieved on your WII ? If so, it should be posted under emulation
Indeed. Helga is HUGE :)
2 kicks and you're out. One try was enough.
Lol. If the 3 no's want to have videos, then come and look how I play on the toilet
Another brutal platformer. Even more difficult than Jet Set Willy. Who likes these games
Although much easier than the Arcade version, I never regretted buying this back then in '85.
Now I noticed it was Andy Warhol throwing cans on you :)
Another shame game. Must be the one of most terrible athletic games I've 'tried' on the Speccy. Only tried it out. The game was already requested here, otherwise I wouldn't post my 'score'.
You have a typo in the score. Should be 98240. Skipping for now.
I played it several days; I guess some 12 hours in total. Love this game. Total carnage :)
But still couldn't reach the first end boss.... But okay, I had tremendous fun with it.
Don't mind the first picture; was my previous hi-score
Hi, I see you're playing mainly on emulators. Try this site in combination:
https://retroachievements.org/
It gives you achievements features whilst playing your game. I am on it too and some other HS players.
Those Midway are always so hard on the numbers (on a CRT monitor). I had to wear my reading glasses to play and see the scoring.
Normal settings without using the continue after loosing your first life.
Seemed impossible to correctly set my initials on the hi-score table...
Good score. You master this game. Already in the first round I see some nice hidden bonuses. Didnt know you could even push that fire host and could wear a blue hat. But then again I only played the C64 back then. Wonder if it has all those hidden things too.
It's even a no because it is not the NES version played.
Excellent 128K Indie game from 2012. If you like 'Into the Eagles Nest', 'Wolfenstein' in 2D check this one out. I only played Part 1: The Mansion.
Awesomeorge has a point. But you do have video and as a reliable AA user and as a newcomer I'll +1 yes you.
Problem with this site is that we had a lot of issues with false proof. And once it gets through we can't delete the score anymore. Serious, the admin, doesn't care anymore about his site.
So best is to post your name plus the score in one shot next time.
Cheers
Start the gaming evening with an absolutely crap game. What is this? A BMX fighting game. Lol.
Absolutely crap it is.
Yes. I read that. It is okayish. Just can't seem the hang of it.
I ordered my Spectrum Next this morning. you already have one?
Lessons learnt from the start. At the start I also had scores with many no votes; which made me angry too . But now I try to record every game. (except maybe handhelds).
My brain can't handle the awkward fire control buttons settings.
Arghh. Frustating but addictive game. First time I play this.
If you want to get upset with your partner, just let the title screen play for a minute
16K maze game
Great gameplay. You know this game very well. Video is ok. Last life with near zero vitality but still able to get a lot of points. I don't know if there are dipswitches to be show but i'll give it +1.
Cheers
Tough as hell too. At least the arcade version was a bit easier on the first levels.
I am currently using
https://www.retrovirtualmachine.org/en/
It's excellent. You can alter the complete display as you want and it also emulates the Amstrad CPC.
You start at alpha level and then go to beta etc.
8.5.0 on the hi-score table is me. As these are the control keys and I didn't know how to introduce your name..... Otherwise watch the video if you h ave doubts.
Scores seems valid.
+1
On YouTube I set everything 'unlisted' and 'not made for kids'. Never gives me a problem.
Using genuine hardware in combination with SD/Flashcards/Everdrives is considered as using real hardware and not emulation.
As long as you use non-hacked etc rom files.
I am skipping this one just because the video doesn't start from 'score zero'. You could be using a save state. Plus, it is the top score. So I prefer skipping this one as you are new here. I am not downvoting, just skipping ;)
Hi, which emulator are you using? Because I have tons of Isos
Video being uploaded (+1gb); including the level loading
First time I play this on the Speccy.
Multiload horror. Round a, b and c look exactly the same. I at least didn't see any difference.
No point farming done. Round d at least gave me another dungeon to explore.
Good graphics and scrolling but poor gameplay.
+1
Good score. And you hear the crickets sound during the night you played this ;)
WOS is also back I saw :)
good news
https://worldofspectrum.org/infoseek?q=Detective
Video being uploaded (in two parts as I got an urgent phone call)
Had another go.
Video is still uploading and being processed (1.4GB)
Already 5 years ago I played Season 1. Time flies by.
One of the first A2600 games I saw and played 35 years ago at a friend of my friends house. The other ones were Indy 500 and Asteroids. Since then I still never touched an A2600 although I have many 'in stock' here .
Hi and welcome.
Can you confirm this played on a real PSP and not on an emulator? As it looks like a snapshot of a monitor screen.
Great score +1
One of my 'early C64' favorites. Comparing this to what I had in 1982 for the ZX Spectrum was 'wow'. Certainly the SID.
Next time I play this, I'll try to figure out how to play it with the paddles.
+1
Nicely done.
Try https://retroachievements.org/
You can earn achievements like on PS/XBOX on quite a big number of (emulated) consoles/games.
Those frustrating 'i don't know if I already have been there' adventure maze games :)
+1
Video looks good.
An addictive game but soooo annoying :) I am not good at it.
Hi, can you confirm this was played on a real PS2 and not on a (PSCX2) emulator; because the loading time at the beginning of the first level is very fast. Normally you see some 10 seconds "loading" and then you push start.
Also your video stops at 45k or something (Friday)?!
Thanks
+1
I prefer using NCH Debut Recording software. It's 50% discount now till end of may and then you get a life time license. I find it much easier and CPU 'lighter' than the (free) OBS.
+1
Seems Serious is still doing nothing about that troll account/scores.
I have this one on my Spectrum and C64 and found it one of the most boring arcade game conversions. I've never played the arcade, so maybe that one is more interesting.
Also, there was always the misconfusion if it was Galvan or Galivan as the ads and loading screens were a bit confusion with the sword in the middle.
Or you can use this one:
https://lotharek.pl/productdetail.php?id=55
He has other stuff too and is very reliable. Both Omargeddon and myself have ordered things from him.
Hmmm. So you're just posting the factory hi-score or did you get 40k? Please add more evidence (your score, initials and your device). Thanks
That's ok. A restart is not a continue.
Ha. I always thought you needed to do a lot of tricks to gain a high score. So you just need to go in the tunnel al the time. Probably more difficult than I think.
The Master System is a great a version.
Great score.
+1
Ok, after an hour or so of bad (skinny girls) beat em up I pulled the plug out of my PS2 and went for some outdoor sport.
Thanks. It's just easy when your PC with webcam sits next to your CRT ;)
NCH Debut recording software is much 'lighter' than OBS too.
Diff. 5 is default.
Dreadful clone. Not worth playing more than once.
According to the manual you should press diagonal to take the elevator but I can't seem to get it work...
This site doesn't support decimals and cfr. the emu score we do just the final times 100.
So 5.93 km = 593
Great score. But how long will Serious NOT react on troll scores.
The hi-score table consolidates all courses. This Course D is last.
Thanks. I used to complete every course but I am getting too old :)
They can say what they want but I do like C64 Out Run. It has the speed and GREAT SID music. I used to just load the game just to hear the musical sound breeze :)
I like the Speccy version because it has better details but it's sooooo slow.
Hi and welcome her.
Before I vote yes, can you confirm this was played on a real PS2 and not emulation?
Thanks
The admin will do zip. Best is to request PAL versions of each score. And then post them there.
Never was a fan of Rastan or Rygar. Plus there is no NTSC fixed version apparently.
Scrolling gave me much glitches.
And saying I looped it when i was a kid. Now i can't even complete round 2 with that dreadful joystick control.
okay...it ends after level 9. I should have killed more baddies. Not a bad game but too easy to complete. Even for me.
Damn, I deleted the video file already before it was 100% uploaded.
Another system I still miss. And like the Vectrex so expensive nowadays. +250€ or so. And now with the Brexit I don't think I will ever get one cheaply.
+1
Thanks. Not my PB. It's one of those early c64 games. Simple but addictive and definitely a 'one more try'. Would be an ideal mobile game nowadays.
Damn. Another failed attempt to reach stage 3. Those dogs are so fast...
Hi emmbo, you'll get my yes vote if you can confirm this was played on 'Normal' Traffic load. Cheers
+1 Yes
I know you have the real machines but most of the users here don't. Best to post also your machine in the picture.
Hmmm. This site and its users has by default defined all clones as emulation; even it is FPGA or bits and parts used from 'new' old stock. Don't know what to do now as it uses a lot of original chips I read. I'll wait for the others to comment before voting.
Cheers and welcome.

For me video isn't required as long as it is not a super duper WR.
You can have up to 5 no votes. As of 80% your score is accepted.
It's just a troll user. I guess it's the user Ichi playing like a child.
And then the game suddenly stalled....
No point farming done (which can be done very easy by shooting constantly on the non-destructive aliens). I concentrated on the two bomb layer aliens. Once you've destroyed them you can clean up the rest of the bombs and go on to the next level.
You get i think 1 million when you complete the game. Very easy to complete.
Hi Adrien,
Can you confirm this is played on real NEO Geo hardware? Or emulated. As I didn't know SEGA Astro City cabs had Neo Geo inside?!
You can set your initials in your profile settings by the way.
+1; you just nailed it ;)
Video is there and fine for me. Seems that last boss is really though. Never played Castlevania.
Good Score +1
Check out this site for more games of this kind and some more competition ;)
https://www.video-games-records.com/home.html
I agree with Zzap giving this only 39%. The US version was called Fist - The Legend Continues while they decided to rename it for the EURO version to Fist II - The Legend Continues. It plays exactly the same apart from a slightly different loading screen.
Too tough for me. One blow and you're gone. There is no title screen or hi-score table. Guess no bytes left anymore.
Will be tough to get all the door pieces one by one and still find enough energy.
This Pal game gave me some ingame graph/sound glitches.
The NTSC version seems to put the lives/timer info at the bottom of the screen vs PAL version at the top.
Yeah. My biggest flaw with all 8 bit computers. They sticked with the Atari one button joystick mapping. Only the MSX as I am aware off did handle 2 fire buttons natively.
Someone voted no because he thinks I stole my evidence. Lol :)
My first play on this game and on my newly modded PAL to NTSC c64c. Which I can recommended to every PAL user to get one. Speed and music are more uptempo.
Was quite expensive to import the ntsc crystal/vic, but was worth it.
Can't seem how to map the right flipper on my keyboard. That key doesn not exists on my french AZERTY keyboard . Not a good flipper game.
Played Match Day I a lot back then. Now it seems so sluggish :)
sorry for the bad picture quality. Probably because this game uses a more highly defined picture quality and my recording resolution is a bit too low. Fixed that.
Thanks.
I ordered it almost a year ago but never took the chance to install the backlight. Unfortunately this version (V2.0) screen is about 10% smaller than the original GBC screen. I've read that the newer version comes with a 1:1 screen. But okay, at least now I can see the screen when playing in bed/in the dark.
Played late night in bed. Modded my GBC with the BennVenn solderless LCD Freckle kit.
Took 30 min. to finally have a screen I can see on :)
Don't worry too much. As long as you play legit and don't have +5 no votes, your score will pass.
+1 yes
Still haven't got one (or a BBC Micro). Is there a flash card for it? It seems you load your tape files via your mobile

Check also this site:
https://www.video-games-records.com/diddy-kong-racing-jeu-j186.html
More competition too ;)
Nice score. Haven't played a lot on my N64. Although I preferred Diddy Kong on Mario.
Did had a higher score 387000 but also lost that video. Wouldn't make much difference on this table.
As you see in the video I am writing my initials but I forgot to finish it off before the time limit (was taking a picture). So in the hi-score table it then registers as 'serbee'...
Did have a better score but lost that video.
They were requests of August. Seems S.Baz is working hard to process them. And Omar apparently requested them too ;)
I once downloaded everything from here:
https://archive.org/details/Fujitsu_FM-7_TOSEC_2012_04_23
Oh wait, this was ment for your husband. Lol. :)
Well, you're lucky you have a partner who loves retro games.
And kicks your ass :)
+1
I just point a webcam connected on my PC to the CRT. But again, they're sitting next to each other so that's pretty easy for me. But doesn't give lag of course ;)
Was wowed when I played this bck then on my Speccy. Although a bit repetitive.
Yes. Excellent version. And damn, already 4,5 years ago I played this. Much better than the original and equal quality to G 'n G Arcade.
+1
That would be a good idea. I think some MAME games already have it like that. S. Baz recently approves requests quite fast.
And thanks for your honesty. Always much appreciated.
Cheers.
This looks and plays far better than the Speccy version.
+1
Wrong category. This is clearly not played on an original arcade machine. Who's voting yes that easy?
I don't see the final score and either see a video which I prefer to see for such a high score.
Hi Dumple. Did you use an auto fire plugin? As I know this game by default doesn't have autofire and in the recent 'La Calice Cup' Tournament autofire was allowed.
We try to separate these submissions in 'autofire allowed' as much as possible to give people that don't like autofire (like me ) a fare chance. So, I don't have anything against you personally or am I against autofire.
Don't want to be annoying or so. But since this site is unmanageable after games get approved , I prefer game subsmissions go in the correct category first time right.
Thanks
On this original Galaxia '79 cabinet. Did replace the control panel and the internal work is out and replaced by an old laptop from work.
Reply
So did it have also those annoying commercial interuptions?
+1
I never liked Last Ninja. Okay nice graphics and music but the controls spoil everything. Don't know why this was so much hyped back then (on the C64).
A damn hard mahjong game with very tight time limit.
I also struggled with the ST (ball) mouse; the connection ports are a bit off. Should resolder it. Typical problem I read.
I am 000. You can't put letters.
Very nice graphics , looks like the arcade machine. Pity the gameplay is not that umfph...
I recently heard of this game while listening to the Retro Hour.com podcast. Catching up on their podcasts. It indeed was just driving endlessly straight ahead but just steering left or right as the bus would move. Someone did that for 24 hours or so...
That was a good laugh.
Currently €3.12 on Steam I see. €15 seems a bit too high for this game.
Looks nice, but plays dreadful. Only had two tries.
It's a great game indeed. I ended another run with 143k but I lost the recording somehow...
Still, no autofire used which I find a pity that those top schmuppers still use on those older games....Another generation I guess
Don't be offset by some no's. It usually happens.
Kort lontje precies.
Believe me. I am no C64 hardcore guy. It was Speccy all the way too. And I do own MSX too. Nothing to do with live or not. If it gets stuck, just replay like I did.
What's the point submitting/recording for 12 hours watching a ball gets stuck and racking up scores....That's what I ment
I am not complaining. I already mentioned this bug on my Spectrum emulation submission.
Looks good. I watched the complete video. Seems you had some trouble showing the PS2
Guys,
Don't vote yes on this that quick. I know this game. I played it on the Spectrum and the C64 and yes there is a bug. When your ball get stuck you get endless points... See 1h33 and on and on in his video.
I noticed it for both platforms I played on and I did not post it as this is absurd. I had millions too when I returned from diner and let it run. Be reasonable, and post a fair game you played without the ball being stuck ;)
Cheers
Played with one credit as you can continue till 9. Press A+U or Q+U if you have QWERTY to return to the title screen after your first credit.
Press left shift for the bombs.
Great conversion. Just missing the sampled voices.
I've requested this separate Jap track as it is a bit harder than the US version apparently.
I've requested this Fire Shark Jap original version as it plays harder than the US version.
Ha. No, no. That's a poppy. Remembering World War I here in Flanders. 101 years ago already but still very alive here.
Try searching on Flanders Field ;)
Thanks. It's a bit dodgy on the joystick port. A typical problem with the ST's. I am looking for a STE but damn, they are expensive.
Yes, it is a good early arcade game 'one more time'.
Already voted yes, but after reading that the Jap version is easier than the US version, we maybe should split these submission.
I also wonder why Nick doesn't show the title screen. Maybe for that reason..
I'll request Galaga88j.
Yes from me. And I used the 'problem' button on the current hi score.
You should participate next time as you love schmups and you're pretty good at it.
This score will probably not make it in the top 40. But okay. I enjoyed it.
La Calice Cup 2019 submission. And no autofire used .
Good score but we should split Arcade versus Simulation mode. As with Arcade mode the Tilt functionality is off and the flippers are bigger amongst other advantages. You can compare pictures with my submission here (made in Simulation mode).
Guess Marc 'screwed' this up while making these requests. Maybe I should request Simulation mode myself.
But nevertheless I'll vote yes.
Do you use the same name on Steam? Maybe we can link.
Cheers
Bloody unforgiven. One life, one hit on the scenery and it's game over.
Thanks Omar. You can always ask a 'autofire allowed. I am not against it, it just should be separated. Even on schmups.
Pity we can't manage the games better here because I know a lot of submissions from some players were done with an autofire plugin. I am not talking about Image fight.
Cheers
They have launched a new way to upload videos. It requires some more clicks to obtain the url to copy here. The old way was faster.
La Calice Cup 2019 submission. No dip switches to show.
La Calice Cup 2019 submission. I started on their discord a debate why the top players play this game (and other non-default autofire games) with autofire.
LOL. It started a fire like 'fuck off, i don't want to waists my wrists,... and I want a good score...'.
When I am tired , I stop playing. It's like all the top players always use autofire...
I had to leave the game... end score hi-score table
You'll crack em in no time . A great console. First time I really played it. Was laying in the closet for 10 years or so.
So when is Serious going to remove those troll top 1 scores..
Aka Mr. Heli on the computers. I just played it recently on the ST.
Selection of difficulty level at beginning of video.
Plays with the mouse and the joystick fire button to attach/detach your pod.
Already 2.5 years since I played my 1040 STF. With the Pompey Pirates discs you can actually choose between 50hz and 60hz. Even if you have a PAL ST it plays 60hz. Great. Huge difference in speed.
I've left the organizer a message. Apparently they are still looking for 4 extra players.
Yeah, seeing the current no votes i think it would be better to have more proof.
Certainly with MAME. Important to show are dip switch settings in your video.
Cheers
See at his previous submission.
But yeah, better post your jamma setup again. Probably with a capture device inbetween.
Looks an intense game
+1
And welcome here. Plenty of Speccy scores here.
But try to improve evidence.
Cheers
Quite some games list already. I just hope that the high score tables don't get polluted by hacked scores.
Most of my floppy's give me read errors or maybe it's my 1541. So got myself a 1541 Ultimate. Great devices.. Frankie is a very good Amidar genre player too.
+1
Maybe we'll meet each other in the 'La Calice Cup. The MAME schmup tournament starts November 1st.
Maybe we'll meet each other in the 'La Calice Cup. The MAME schmup tournament starts November 1st.
Never saw this game and I have tons of PS2. Maybe US only.
Hi. When posting YouTube don't use the 'share link. You need to copy paste the web url ending with .be I believe.
And welcome here.
It's not bad. Certainly better than the 8bit computer versions.
Indeed. Finest F1 racer for me on the C64. You can always request for new score ideas. I just asked for best lap. On the C64 unfortunately there is no game admin but Serious or S.Baz, so it can take a while before they pricess your requests. I am almost waiting 12 months now for some of my C64 requests :)
Yeah. Since he moved to external supplier, Krikkz' Everdrives are more expensive than usual. Lucky I bought them before. Only missing the N64 one but I don't play that since decade. Plus I've got a Doctor V64 for that :)
I always thought West Bank on the C64 was very good. But since I played the MAME and this SMS version , I noticed the C64 misses a lot of nice touches. A remake would be nice. I read C64 Bomb Jack is also almost ready : )
Yups. Got some some 10 or so originals but now playing on my Master Everdrive. Was sitting in the closet for 3 years already :)
Thanks. Looks nice for an upcoming Xmas presence.
What's that LCD pixel thing on the left? It changes per submission. Looks nice.
Guess you should provide video seeing you got many no votes. As playing on a SNES Mini gives you save states and rewinds I believe.
First time I play and it's a great platformer. Just didn't know what to do with that chocolate boss and lost too many lives on it. Maybe next time
Battlemaniacs was to receive a Master System port in Europe on July 1994, but it was cancelled last second. This port was eventually released in Brazil by Tec Toy, though the quality of the build was far from finished.
Good score +1
Don't know if I am gonna replay this bad game :)
Hi Raf. Thanks for your answer. Maybe you already read some discussions about using clones and flashcards in the discussion area. If not, please note that this site (and its community) considers using clone systems (like the Retroduo) as emulation. It emulates the SNES, Genesis and NES game systems (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retro_Duo) and so should be posted under emulation.
We do consider using Everdrives, Gotek drives or any other flashcards where ROM etc are 'injected' in an original hardware as real hardware usuage.
These guidelines are also used on TwinGalaxies and some other highscore sites.
Just giving you this information. I don't force any person to post nor give no/yes votes based on my information. I always let the community choose. I skip my vote for now and you will get my yes vote when this goes under emulation.
cheers
New Alex Kidd on the way:

I guess you got some no votes because people don't see your SNES in the picture. Your previous game submissions were done on a MAME cabinet. I'll wait for your feedback before voting. Cheers and welcome here.
Before voting , was this played on a MAME arcade kinda cabinet or on the real arcade cabinet. As you don't show the entire cabinet. I'll wait for your feedback before voting. Cheers and welcome here.
Great cave. Better weather too I guess in SA. Raining and wind here in Belgium.
I just wonder if you shouldn't post this is under Arcade (and not emulation/MAME) as you played on real MVS hardware. I don't know much about the Neo Geo stuff, so I wait your feedback before voting.
And yes, those games have tons of secrets.
And welcome here.
I like it more than Mario. But then again I never played consoles back then. Only started with the PSX in 1995. It's not such a high score. Gazhally tripled it on emu.
Some sites have scores up in the millions but those scores where used with farming tecchnique. I read that on some stages you can do that. I am not interested in farming :)
Hmmm. So this means only 2 'stages' then. I thought it can go on endless.
I am pretty sure you can do better.
Okay. No issue. in the end, the result is the same (10th of a km or doing *10). As non native English speaker *10 is just easier to understand. My girlfriend had a (big) question mark when I asked her what a 10th of 100.1 km would be.
With *10 she had no problem.
And no she is not stupid ;)
Cheers from sunny Flanders!
Hi Darryl,
I just posted everything what I wanted to say in your reply thread. I know you didn't insult people. And pardon me if I did.
We just want to have a good way of posting decimal scores. Rounding up and down doesn't work either because in your Enduro 2600 example Zilch rounded down and Vectorman rounded up, etc. Or someone should state in the next submission/description that score x.5 and higher should be rounded up. We would have no issues with it, really. Nor have with how it actually is posted.
Because everyone already posted scores like it, we naturally don't post a new score with *10. And the scores go high, so there is little chance that someone gets the same score.
A better example would be Surfing in California Games or Hot Dog in Winter Games. Max score is 10 with possible .x scores. So there you have lot of chances that people would have the same score if you don't apply the *10 formula. Getting a perfect 10 is hard so it would be unfair that someone with 9.7 would be rounded up to 10 and have the same number one spot.
We've been submitting like this for +3 years as far as I know without any issues. Illseabass, S.Baz, Omargeddon, Derek, OriginalGamer, Frankie, Me amongst others I can think of out of my head are posting like this.
Working like you said with rounding up/down, would be a bit unfair wih games like that (with low possible scores). I've done my graduates
Nothing else behind it. I am not native English speaking so when I say "you can't deny", it doesn't mean it's YOU. Maybe I should have said that it's logic that a score of 2300.4 is higher than 2300.3 (even on a odometer ) .
Don't take this all too serious. It's just gaming. I just didn't like Mr. Zilch insulting some Speccy gamers 'owning' this category while we (or I) know Frankie just loves the ZX and has almost every physical game on it. The same can be said of Mr. Zilch for the VCS and we never insulted him, did we?
The initial score dates back from 2014. From the time members didn't think that 2330.2 would have the same spot as 2330.4. Vectorman rounded up, Zilch rounded down.
If too many people posted a score like Vectorman , we just follow that s rule. So no x10 or so. Like I said, blame Serious not handling this decimal input . So we solved it since many years by applying a formula.
You can't deny that it would be illogical that a score of 2300.3 would have the number one spot over a score of 2300.4.
And don't harrish people because of it. We're just playing games. This is not TG after all.
It's an arcade maze RPG. I apparently used a transportation potion and that ruined my gameplay. You walk and then you randomly are transported so where. Annoying
SMS is great. First try outs for me too. And 60hz makes a lot of difference too.
Odd. You cleared the game but still have less than the current number one spot.
I don't think i've played Batty. Wasnt it only available on some Elite compilation.
It's a site flaw to not be able to post decimals. We've solved this for years like how Frankie proposed it. Many examples like all summer winter california Games . Nothing complicated . And not only on Spectrum platform.
+1
Great graphics but so awful that you need to push up to throttle...cramppsss in my tumb after two plays
It's an eight.
NTSC version. Also known as SDI (Jap version).
Thanks. Played with my Commodore t-shirt :)
Yes, I played almost 4 hours that day. (I am not a natural talent )
Thanks Mark. Yes, I am currently busy playing for the first time MasterSystem games. And they are really good. I compare it like C64 but with some crispier graphics. Playing now on my modded Master System 2 system. Finally 60hz for me :)
Good score. Never was really fond of Mappy but I do recognize it as a classic. I believe Omargeddon is also good on this game.
Playing with 60hz is soooo much better :)
I can recommended everybody to mod their PAL system.
I had this device laying around for quite some time/years. Once won it with an auction and came with some other dedicated devices like the Namco Ms. Pac-Man. Even had batteries in it and lucky they were intact.
Expert level is shown at beginning of video. You swap between larger bat and smaller bat.
Hi Hughes,
Doing this with decimals we are doing this for years already. Eddie is pretty new and he posted the first score. So he wasn't aware. Check other games like Summer Games, World Games etc. It's a shame indeed this is not mentioned in the description. But that description is hard coded and you know that this site can't be changed/managed like we would.
That's why we describe this is in our submission. And believe me, if my score was below 3.0, I wouldn't submitted it ;)
The site doesn't allow to submit decimals so we do x10
It says FLO on the pinball machine and FLO on the initials. Good enough for me.
Mja. But there are a lot of people looping it. But I never had consoles back then and never played these games. You just need need a lot of practise to memorize all levels and moves.
Seems my Everdrive MD (bought somwhere in 2015) freezes every game after playing some 10-15 minutes. It seems there was a faulty batch send out....
Okay. Enemy/traps patterns are fixed. Check. Should be easy. No?
darn. I removed the video while it was still uploading. So, just one picture.
Flying Hero: Bugyuru no Daibouken ("Bugyuru's Great Adventure") is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up with a bright, cartoony style, similar to games like Sega's Fantasy Zone or Konami's TwinBee series. The game features Bugyuru, a flying ball, whose girlfriend Pao gets kidnapped by a mysterious vampire named Biblio. Bugyuru takes off in close pursuit, flying across various worlds and taking down bizarre enemies like flying monkeys and giant rhino beetles.
The game was released exclusively in Japan for the Super Famicom and never officially localized, however a fan translation patch exists.
Good score with your last Pac-Man. Must have been stressy :)
Made on the schmupper construction kit : Dezaemon. And released as a stand-a-lone schmupper on the the Nintendo Satellaview, or Broadcast Satellaview X (BS-X) (a satellite game and news delivery add-on for the Super Famicom, which was only released in Japan).
Dezaemon (also known from the box art as Kaite?Tsukutte?Asoberu: Dezaemon, which loosely translates to "Draw, Make, Play: Dezaemon") is a 2D vertical-scrolling shoot-'em-up construction kit developed and published by Athena for the Super Famicom exclusively in Japan on September 20, 1994.
The sequel to the original 1991 Famicom game of the same name,
Playing on real hardware I noticed there is a difference in the hi-score table with the ROM I played. The rom I had doesn't give you a final score as above. You only get points for the Basic score.
Apparently the game used here is the SNES Mini ROM. So I used that one now.
Finished in my first attempt. But not with a great score.
You can download the SNES Mini ROM here:
https://archive.org/download/StarFox2_201710
Only played with 1 star winger. Not continued with the 2nd.
Works flawless on the SD2SNES Everdrive. Technical impressive game (DSP2 chip).
Played with rom : Star Fox 2 (English Aeon+fix).sfc
Guess this should be merged with the already existing submission of
Star Fox 2 [Normal] (SNES/Super Famicom Emulated)
No farming and save states
Played with RASNES and 8BitDo SN30 pro.
Just playing actually for the first time. And then my controller went flat and connecting the cable it refuses to continue. typically bluetooth I guess... oh well..
I had this one on my C64. Was a unique game to say the least. And at least had some color :)
On The Ball is the US/EUR name for Cameltry (Jap). No change in gameplay.
Thanks to Hyeron for the great achievements work at
https://retroachievements.org/game/1077
Go check it out
Majuu Ou (aka King of Demons).
King of Demons is the English translated patch version as this game was only released in Japan originally.
Great challenging game.
Last one already :)
I had these since a long time sitting on VGR.
Totally mastered that game.
On my Mame cabinet I've set a parameter so it saves the game when exiting. So at least I keep my hi score tables.
And welcome here.
This is the Disk version. The Tape version has no mountains and play a tad different. So I've asked both versions.
Great shooter but still can't pass that stage 1 boss. I am a sucker
Average shooter, saved by the choices you can make at the beginning of each level.
Just annoying you have to replay stage 1 to see your previous high score...
Yeah. I think that's more than enough for first place :)
Indeed. But at least you don't use auto fire. So even harder.
Hi Aralsakan,
Yes original game but it must be played on original NES hardware. Cloned NES versions, FPGA (hardware emulation) are not considered as real NES hardware.
You can play digital roms (like on an Everdrive) and play it on a real NES machine. That is considered real and not emulation ;)
So better re-post it under emulation before everything votes no ;)
Skipping for now.
cheers
Yeah. I noticed afterwards but for 3 points I didn't want to resubmit
Had some visitors while I was going strong...lost concentration
but okayish score.
Don't know how to proceed. Anyone can translate this? :)
Will do. First I need to mod my GBC LCD screen. Will take some time.
The arcade version is famous for using a boxing glove, instead of the classic controller.
I see this returns again :)
Is this Micro Genius now considered as genuine NES hardware or an emulated platform? Skiipping for now.
Yeah. A video for this huge score is I believe required. Like on TG ;)
Skipping for now.
RIP Maxwell btw
Only a Japanese mind can make those kind of games. I mean a super hero man with noodle pot on his head and can shoot noodles to kill villains. Fighting against the kettle villain. The game was to promote a certain...noodle company.
Colourful. Nice sprites.
Last month I ordered a region free Dreamcast. After testing one game, I changed the menu language and after the reboot I got the 'Black swirl of death'. (the start logo is in black). Not good. The seller (Ebay) didn't react.....
It seems the flash eprom was bricked. The mod wasn't done very well. The DC didn't know which region to boot. After some intensive reading, I read that the GDEMU solves this.
And YES , I can confirm that after installation (easiest installation I did, solderless) it works again. I tested my first game. NTSC, fast loading.
I should be able to break the trolls score. My PB on MAME is 600+
Glad it worked. Difficult game. Nobody can beat Nick apparently. He's a Tetris/Breakout WR gamer.
Good sounds (of course) but I am not really good in those action platform games. Maybe I'll have to do a bit more my best if someone else have a try on this ;)
Amazing stamina. I watch some portions of the video. Almost 6 hours
Guess you'll never play this game anymore; I would.
And that music...aaargghhh
Hi and welcome.
Please add more proof like a name tag or video. As now it could just be any internet snapshot.
For Mame it's also recommended to show the Dip switches.
Skipping for now
Hi Evan. Don't forget to put your initials under your game tag.
You need to copy the main URL and not the share/copy one.
And welcome
Some name tag in your picture would help too as now it can be just a snapshot from Google image.
The hi-score table mixes all difficulty settings.Proof of settings at beginning of video.
That SNES controller isn't the best pad for non-autofire schmups. My thumb already hurts :)
After playing the excellent PSP version, this conversion is a bit of a bummer. Ball physics is not good.
Played on my new Super Famicon (region modded).
Typically Spanish Speccy game. Nice graphs , hellish gameplay.
I've never seen this when I was a kid. You had some clones on the Speccy back then.
Yep. Like S. Baz said. Better add more evidence. I'll skip for now since you're a new member.
And welcome.
Need to enter your name before commnecing the game. Which I forgot.
Great score. Beating McKong is tough. But you're a World Class player
Yep. Finally visible. But costs +100€ for McWill only.
I am spending too much money on retro stuff :)
Score is hard to see. Better see the video. Dips at beginning.
Yeah. Amazing. I have to +1 year to add C64 stuff
People should watch the last minutes too so they can see Sajattack realy did play this game.
Best to add this comment to your scores next time as some people don't watch the full video. Or add a water mark to your video (easily done in OBS or NCH.
One of the earliest C64 games I believe (on cartridge).
Looks good to me. Guess this was the first Polygon racing game?!
Never liked the Winter Games serie. Too much boring events.
Don't know this system. Apparently produced after 2003 when the Nintendo's NES patent expired.
https://famicomworld.com/system/famiclones/micro-genis-family-computer/
Is this using genuine chipset or emulation?
Huge score for this game. Still have that tune in my head.
Very nice one. I know Frankie is very hard to beat on these kind of games. I din't have the endurance to play this a lot and remember everything.
Would you mow your flowers at home? Misses would not be happy.
Besides, if I should hqve used a continue the score would be ended by 1.
This took many plays. The PSP controls aren not that friendly on 4-directional games...
I won't take video while on vacation in a resort dude...
Back from my vacation break and took my PSP with. Didn't play much but will post some scores.
Brings back some memories. Back then no internet to search how to solve puzzles. Hate or love game.
A +2B I see. Last week I blew one up....Probably casued by hooking up my DIVMMC in the back. Although it was turned off. Another one to let repair .
Still got my first +2 to play with.
Great score by the way and welcome to genuine hardware :)
Yups. Rally Speedway. I'v recently submitted scores for that. Although some difference in nominations for the track compared to the Intelli.
'Do you need me honey'
You have a good wife. My ex always argued when I was playing. But when she was enjoying her tablet all evening and drinking wine it was ok .
So I left her and installed my man cave in the living room. Now I have a great LAT relation. Not a Brazilian girl
What more does a man need?
Great score btw
I guess you had an Intelli back then? You're cracking a lot of 1st places
Had this on my C64. Was very nice back then. One of the earliest racer I believe.
You're trustworthy enough for me. It happens to me also sometimes.
3 months already. Please improve your evidence to have it cleared.
Great score. Probably a big f*ck when you saw it was so close.
You're improving each time I come and vote on MAME scores
I requested this last week but still haven't played it. Sounds are spot on.
Maybe just add a watermark in your recording software. I do that with OBS or NCH.
I watched the video because beating Frankie is already a great achievement. And I don't see why you get down voted. You master the game.
TERRIBLE controls... Didn't they test their game?? The game already existed in this dbase otherwise I wouldn't post this crap score.
Did you hear about Maxwell. He died apparently some months ago. Can't search his scores here. I thought he was Nintendo fan.
Hmm. I see 83 indeed. So the WOS data is wrong then.
Yes it is. Best played in portrait mode. But to see the score you need to return to landscape.
O. I thought the Simon Software was from 83 and this one 84.
Only gave it two shots. Amazing compared to what Ultimate brought out that same year (1984).
16K game played on Spectrum 128K +2
I am surprised Pinball Dreams was not already here.
Indeed very nice. I did play some C16 before but I must admit that it is currently my less favorable computer system I played on.
My humble score. Level 3. It's all about memorizing. Something I don't like to do today
Odd, the game crashed and returned to the title screen once I touched that yellow pyramid thing.
To the no voters: Zoom in and you see clearly the score in blue at the right.
And for the no voter that requires more evidence of the settings,....
Amazing score. Beating a Jes score is always challenging.
Hi, can you confirm this is played on real hardware? As you've submitted other games under emulation/real machine with the same TV and video setup. Just to be sure we don't have emulation scores in real hardware score as we can't delete/move them afterwards...

Indeed. You need to type: 0:02:36.15 to have minutes/seconds/milliseconds. This site can't handle it differently i am afraid.
Yes, fun game. He did a sequel on Windows but never played that version.
Wow.
Never really played the arcade version. But I believe there are some secrets/bonuses you can catch. Will play this video when I start playing this on MAME.
Hi, do you also have a full video showing the dips? Amazing score nonetheless.
Check out this site if you love race games. More competition there:
https://www.video-games-records.com/home.html
It's just a silver one I bought back then. Nothing custom. I did replaced the CD drive now since that silver one gave up. It's now with a black CD drive
Yeah. The tunes and sounds are still in my head
Wonderful.i had this game but never really knew what to do. Just wandering around
Hmm. OK. Don't remember it :) but will try it next time.
I enjoyed this more than I thought. Only flaw is that the colours are a bit too dark and the useless hi-scoring system. If you don't have 200k or above your score scrolls fast right to left. Quite impossible to see without video.
Played on Normal settings.
Aaahh, those terrible PC joysticks. I remember you had to calibrate them forever and then it even wasn't enjoyable to play with.
Lol.
So you're making an account just to tell me that. How pathetic is that? no?
For your notice, I am not chasing WR. I am just playing a lot of retro stuff, reading about it and enjoy playing games I never played before. And yes, some of my scores are very easy to crack. So go on and do it instead of insulting people.
Certainly improves on viewing a brighter screen. I am having my GG modded with a better screen. Hopefully it is.
yeah. Always loved to play this back then. Excellent conversion and score. I believe my PB was 44k.
Thanks. Not near my PB on Pinball Arcade but will do. I didn't know that easter egg.
My previous submission was mistakingly put under PC. It was played on the PSX of course (don't mind the title of the video).
I had more trouble seeing the screen. So I hope the LCD kit will bring hope. It should be a solderless solution.
Hot potato
Well, I just ordered this LCD backlit mod kit for my GB colour.
bennvenn.myshopify.com/collections/aftermarket-lcds/products/copy-of-backlit-gbc-drop-in-lcd-kit-pre-orders-batch-4
Maybe give this one a try on my next trip in June.
Cheers
Yeah. I prefer the original pinball tables. The Zen tables i don't dig much.
It was 8 euro per 3 tables.
Those unoriginal tables are so boring. You play like +30 minutes or so. I prefer the original tables.
Its a valid system. I just check with my 1200 if AGA adds something besides better graphs. And often the game has more levels etc. So i ask a special AGA version.
But don't know the CD32 system myself.
Yes, it is expensive and does a bit too much for what I use it. But for Batman you have a one disk image.
No problem to swap disks with the Ultimate. Just push the cartridge button, Mount disk 2 and push the cartridge button again.
One of my originals I was most proud of. And bomb jack.
It's the 1541 Ultimate II. There is a Facebook group for it too.
Blimey. Zzap64 gave this one 78%... At least a game you can play comfortly with the keyboard.
Terrible version. Only played it once. Selection of difficulty level at beginning of video.
Yes, it is.
Still waiting on the final remake:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gET5Lqr348
That one looks a lot better.
After this game my C64C died. Already the 3rd C64C . Crappy manufactured. The breadbins were more solid made.
It's a pity nobody can change/merge/update things. This is a wonderful site with so many different platforms but it misses some management.
As said, this site doesn't allow to submit decimals so we do x100
This site doesn't allow to submit scores with decimals so as usual we multiply by 100 to have the final score.
This site doesn't allow to submit scores with decimals so as usual we do times 100 to have the final score.
This site doesn't allow to submit decimals. So as usual here, we just apply times 100 to have the score.
The is my finale score after one play time. I can't do a 2nd one.
Wow. I only played it once but I guess this is quite an achievement. And a gold medal. Solid :)
Sorry for the small picture but if you blow it up you will see 8675. Made it to room 4.
Completed Beginner. Pity it doesn't continue then on the Intermediate level.
Gets very rapidly boooooring. After 45 minutes I quit. You could go on forever.
Damn it. You're right. And I did said to myself ...get it right.
Will delete and repost this tomorrow.
cheers
I turned the pictures correctly but it seems this site doesn't stick to it...
Sorry, but that is not Wonderboy in Monsterland but just Wonderboy. Better repost it in the correct game (spelled Wonder Boy here). Skipping now.
Always annoying that you have to push up to accelerate while steering left and right. It's like you're strangling someones neck.
They should have swap the fire button (gear change) with accelerate.
Oeps.. wrong game
Beter repost this. Skipping For now
As on my MSX I can alter 50/60 on the fly by default.
Sorry, no video. I already deleted it on my HD and it appeared to be not fully uploaded yet on Youtube. Oh well, it's not a high score :)
Does anyone knows how I can mod my PAL C64 to NTSC. As on emu NTSC, the difference is very noticable. The music plays even better. I always try to play NTSC.
Excellent conversion. I had a tad more but that tank guy made it unclear, so I rewind a bit and post that score.
Very good conversion. Much better than Daley :)
Normal settings.
Never liked Super Mario and never liked this game very much. I don't like games where you have to push up on the joystick to jump.
You posted this also under emulation. So I guess this is not played on a real arcade cabinet with original PCB .
It misses keyboard play. For the rest this is a very good conversion.
Thanks. I have only played A2600 early 80's. Asteroids and Indy 500 it was. At a friend of a friends place. I have several A2600 here with the AtariAge flash card but still had no intention to boot it up... So many games, so little time :)
The SEGA version has the 'Outrun' road effect and scoring has a blue bar.
There are actually two different version. The SEGA version and the Elite version (this one). The SEGA version is distributed by Mindscape. Different title pictures and slightly different in-game graphic effects makes this a separate game release. (when compared to the Elite version).
Also the SEGA version racks ups scoring very easy. See my last picture. I already had +170k in stage 1 playing with one hand :)
So submissions should be checked good before approving.
Cheers

Yeah. It's a great port. Also the Speccy and Amstrad are great ports. The C64 sure has the best tunes.
I did defeat him but not today ;)
I always thought back then that it was some homebrew version but apparently it is an early conversion from the Commodore PET.
Bloody hell. After playing this 200% CRAP an dbuggy game I noticed my webcam focus was lost. I re-focus towards the end of the video. For this reason alone I uploaded the video so you have proove I played it.
I had a clean run on the first 3 levels but when you clean a level without dying you restart the next level with a score of 00000 . The most BUGGY game (full price) I played. And what a disappointment compared to one of a my fav early 80's game. Avoid.
Is this the same as the Xbox 360 version? As this is played on Xbox one.
Wow. Great score. The first minute you already had a million points by going up directly to class 3. I didn't know you could do that.
That's probably why you have a 3 at the end?!
One of the few games with humor in it.
One of those great little arcade titles on the C64.
Good score. A classic game. I should give it a retry.
And welcome here too
Give it a try. This copy is very easy. Was quite disappointed. Kernzy will be back
I don't see much difference between Advanced and Novice. 200K and then let myself die.
Novice is too easy. I could play for endless time. Plus, you get so many extra ships. Target was 500k. Hopefully Advanced and Expert are better. Still refer Dropzone.
Is this table any good? They tend to be too long. I prefer original tables.
...shift+S happen to be my shortcut key to stop recording on OBS. And that's also the keys to control the bike/gas. So only picture.
I am afraid to play on my toastrack. I bought it a couple of years ago (not on Ebay) for 60€ or so without knowing it was the 'top' Speccy. And if you now look on what the prices are for such a device.... 200€ or so is not rare. Even broken ones go for +100€...
Another classic. The C64 has some really good arcade clones early on.
Often confused with Advance of the Megacamel or Attack of the Mutant Camels (Europe version) published by Llamasoft. That has a giant llama and is a side scroller. Same author (Jeff) but I guess HesWare (for the US release) preferred to cash in on the Mutant Camel hype. In Europe this sequel of Gridrunner was just called Matrix; and released by Jeff himself (Llamasoft). Very confusing ...
I posted it here as also the top score for emu version was posted under this title. The score of ixx is actually the wrong camel game.
It first seems the same as Gridrunner but wait till Zone 4. Then it gets better (and different).
Played it on the default levels when booting up. Still not my PB. That dates back from early 1990. . I am getting old
Wow. Massive score. I retried Arkanoid last week on my real C64 trying to beat my own HS but failed. I used my Commodore VIC-20 paddles. Not as accurate as playing with a PC mouse though.
Still, a great conversion.
I read a handy tip on the Dropzone wiki. Use a 2nd joystick and put it on the ground. Then you your foot (obvious) to fire (smart bomb) and activate shield (by slamming the stick in a direction). It works better than using the space bar and a random key on the keyboard while playing.
Still a low score, but I enjoyed this one. Great game.
Use the 'Remember' D64 file as it saves your scores on high permanently.
https://csdb.dk/release/?id=40853
I always fail 2nd round weight lifting. Can't waggle/do it anymore like then.
I remember this was a very boring game. Lucky it was just copy. Only had 10 or so copies. All my friends had C64 or weren't interested in early video games.
Cool. Video is not allows required. If you post MAME scores most of the time people want video, including the dip switch settings. So we can see, it was played on default settings.
I never really liked Uridium and neither this clone.
Never played this sequel to the excellent Jet Boot Jack.
Holy cow. Didnt play this back then .I preferred wizards lair. Great job
First time I played this. Never had it nor wanted it as it seemed too complicated. But hell, it is an addictive (but difficult) game. Only one life, that's a pity.
Odd. I had no key anymore and that box didn't open by itself. Must be a bug? So I gave up.
I had to leave so no end score hi-table input. Made it now till level 34.
Aaah. That's why I thought Buck Rogers was played on a hydraulic machine
Never played this nor seen it in the arcades. I assume it plays great with the hydraulics. Better than on Mame.
You barely have time to enter the hi-score table. So the "?" is my poor attempt.
Great game. First time I play this. Difficult but addictive. Had to see a Youtube first because then I saw you can jump through floor items. But not if you fly.
Should be proofed with the title screen showing your last score because you loose points every time you're hit or die.
Yes. And when lucky you get them all and have big points. But you loose a life. Good homebrew conversion from an MAX game.
Yups. But can't find download images . For Android that is. Not on PC right now. Will look tomorrow. I certainly have them. Also all Scumm adventures. All on my bucket list. Too little time
I just installed Dosbox Turbo. For a small fee you get an excellent Android Pc/early Windows emulator.
Wanna try some sierra adventures.
Don't know how modern kids can play with a virtual joystick. Too difficult for me.
I've found the shoes and the hammer.
'Naughty Naughty'. Reminds me of that 'The Prodigy' song.
It was also available on the MSX and Spectrum. I didn't know back then it was an arcade game. I like the SID sound effects. So much better than the (sorry) Spectrum.
Yeah. Once a gift from my ex. The best thing she gave me
Well it was still January here in Belgium when I posted this ;)
I always liked those Dan Dare graphics but never really played any decent game of it. It seemed so complex. Up until now. Quite good game. You really need to memorize your path as time is VERY strict.

I still keep my CRT for that. With the scart/RGB picture is quite good.
Just playing/testing this month this new emulator.
But sure, boot it up. We can have some more Speccy submissions here.
I can't seem to upload my .png nor .jpg pictures. The site always gives me an 'Invalid file extension. Only JPG and PNG images are supported.'
I can't seem to upload my .png nor .jpg pictures. The site always gives me an 'Invalid file extension. Only JPG and PNG images are supported.'
I did once though with Retrogamer. Starting from issue 1 and then playing/reading every game it mentioned. I stopped after a while. Hellish :)
But still on my 'bucket list'.
Tried 2 emulators. Thought they were buggy, but no, the game itself is so hard (at least for me).
I've got none. All throw away early 90's. Who thought we would be playing 8 bit again he.
I am cleaning up my 300k frontend. Just a random pick. Speccy emu for this month. And then read about the game on some online mag sources.
Sinclair User raved about this budget game. It didn't impress me. Bullet firing is so sluggish.
No, no hi-score table. If I follow you, the score would be zero. I'll remove it.
Another C64 budget game I had. Speccy plays good. Big and colourful graphics.
Sorry no video. OBS already closed and forgot about it.
Got this original on the C64. Was WAAYYY better. This Speccy conversion isn't that good.
Sorry no video. OBS already closed and forgot about it.
I can't get on the bike. So I gave up after a while. Don't want to do point farming.
An early Beyond Software game. Pity about the slack controls otherwise nice Q-Bert clone.
No hi-score table. And not as good as Operation Wolf.
Was looking forward for a good sequel to Ikari Warriors. But gameplay plays like sh*t.
Aargh. Missed somewhere the last flask. I completed the maze I believe. One of my favorite maze games back then. No endless attacking enemies. Not too difficult too (not like Firelord etc).
A Crash Smash. Should always be proved with video as you can use a continue credit which doesn't reset the score.
The Classic Arcade mode is the real deal. No animation, score indication, power ups etc. And is very realistic.
Yes. My first time I play this. It's currently only 5€ for the 3 tables.
Another homebrew. Not bad. Not that difficult too (for me).
This would have been a Crash Smash. Excellent homebrew. Great sound.
Excellent graphics. But I do suck on platform games.
Very boring racing game on the Speccy. I was falling asleep with this. Didn't bother to upload a video.
Great score. Almost got him.
Didn't like Zaxxon back then. But it's a classic.
Final score left corner. I gave up as I was blocked. Looks nice but it's very repetitive. Enemies returning and no clue what to do with the items. Crash gave this 76%...
It's virtual Marc. Also the tape player
Press the eject button on the tape player, select your tzx or tap file. Press enter. Press play
easy no?
Leave the files unzipped. On the internet archive you can download the complete Tosec zip file.
Snow is because your virtual machine is not powered on
Press the power button in the upper left corner.
A bland copy of Black Tiger. If I remember well even the level layout is exactly the same.
I tried to like this game but it has terrible collision detection. And you can't redefine the keys which sucks. This Data East Compilation is one of worst I played :)
No hi-score table
Mark,
Made a little video. Just select .tap or .tzx files in the tape loader. (no, it's not for recording your video); I use OBS to record. Then enter and press play. That's it. Fast forward if you don't like to wait.
For .Z80 or .SNA files (snapshots), just load "save state' and select your file.
You can download games on WOS: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/ or on the internet archive and have the complete TOSEC.
https://archive.org/details/zx_spectrum_library_games
You can download 1by1 or the complete +9000 bunch in one go.
Indeed, horrible.
But there is an excellent new homebrew out:
http://uprising-games.com/home/mister-kung-fu/
I currently trying out for Speccy:
https://www.retrovirtualmachine.org/en/
Excellent emulator. Normally I use Spectaculator. For the C64 I use Vice or CCS64. Note they son't use roms (in 99% of the cases). It was tapes or discs back then. But with the emulator a lot of snapshots are availble to load in. Pretty straightforward. Just google How to load C64 . Have fun
Quite buggy. Couldn't load it in a +2. Has to be a 128K. And the hi-score table just shows for a split second.
Correct. Skill Level 0 is the default level. Great score.
Bullet Hell on the Speccy
Can't beat Perry Rhodan. Been reading those for quite some time now. Currently issue 119. +2800 issues to go. The longest SF novel dating back from 1961 with a weekly issue.
Great score. I always suck on maze games. Don't want to study the patterns I guess
The film is not based on this ;)
Fast Horizontal schmupper with really big sprites for a Speccy. Worth some goes.
Thanks. Frankie is ALWAYS a big challenge for me.
First time I play this. Very good rendition of Phoenix. Certainly for a 1983 game.
Couldn't load Level 2 so it ended as it is.
Quite good. I own the first version and this one has 128K sounds and even speech.
Haha. Yeah. It's been already 6 months.
Always hi-jacking your daughter's room I see
Good 2019 gaming.
Cheers
Just saw it during my lunch break. Good movie with original plot and twists. Do hoped to see some more geeky stuff, but ok overall. And why Manic Miner poster of the Dragon version on the wall? Did it came out first on it?
Forgot to record this one. Low score. Can't get the keyboard working. Difficult with the joypad.
No hiscore table so I justrestarted a fresh game.
Well Jeff must have been high when writing the manual. BASIC game. And wonder why this couldn't been done in 16K:
"A colourful and well animated game in which you must guide CHICO the Headbanger safely through a shower of hammers in order to collect money bags. Collect bonus points for blows to the head en route, but be sure to keep an eye on the pain meter and take an aspirin if the pain is too much! Program written in Basic with M/C subroutines to speed up the action. If you have the William Stuart Speech Box, the program will produce voice output - Hear Chico say "OUCH!" and complain "MY SKULL HURTS" Nice graphics and fun to play.
(c) 1983 Program written by Jeff Minter"
A nice 16K game. Never heard of it from Ocean Software. Not so good score :)
Yes vote here. And thanks you requested/submitted this in a separate (auto-fire) track. CheerS.
Trying out this new emulator (currently for CPC & Spectrum only). It's very nice and has lots of tweaks.
http://retrovirtualmachine.org/
Indeed. till it is my PB. Will certainly retry it soon. I prefer the 80s shooters. Still not that good t it. No 1CC for me
A score from August 2017. S. Baz is catching up on our requests
I use my C64 as passthrough as the C16 doesn't work with the Ultimate 64.
I just want to avoid it's getting through and in the wrong game category. As game admins we can't merge/move nor delete submissions...
Hi, great score. But not sure if this should by posted under MAME/Arcade emulation. Or is it just a ROM and emulator?
There is a separate XBOX360 track here. If the game doesn't exist yet, you can submit a request.
cheers
Thanks Mark.
Yeah. When the fair came finally to town (no arcades here) I saw this 'beast' ferrari. I was 14 in '86. It was the talk of the week. The son of the owner of the Lunapark once played it before our eyes and (of course) cleaned the game to the finish without crashing.
You've got too many games Mark.
Nope
'Easy is the default. I looked up all higher posted scores except yours. It boots like that.
Some improvement. Terrible last 3 planes.... aaarghh
Would make your WR on the real machine. Already 3 years since I played this. Time flies by. Too little time to play though...
Excellent score. Note that there are NES scores with the Level indicated too. Both should be merged one day, but probably never will.
Great score. This is actually a good game. Was surprised when playing this when it was emulated.
I don't like fighting games except this one as I had it for my ZX Spectrum. My PB.
Kernzy uses set 2 and different dips. Maybe I'll retry again on those Twin Galaxy settings. Don't know why TG didn't use the default settings.
Can you confirm this is played on a real C64? I don't see it in the video ;)
Me too. Love the sound effects. I play it om my arcade cabinet with sound 100% up. When the big boss plane comes in everything shakes :)
First time I played the arcade version. Loved this one on my CPC6128 back then.
Not an enoyable beat em up game. No hi score here. Left bottom to see score.
Last game of this nice compilation. Pity prices are so high for this kind of retro compilations (on any console). I saw prices going from 50€ to 100€ for this one...
Couldn't make any 'Perfect' score. Still not bad for me as I don't like fighting games. Was a very good 8 bit conversion too.
Upper left for the score. Needed to pause the game as no hi score table... get.
Made it to stage 3 no continues used.
Agree. Only played once. It's too hard to see for me eyes
Not a great score but with the directional buttons it's very hard. Like I played Decathlon.
This is the American version of this little compilation. It adds force feedback in some games and some (1 pager) history informarion.
Agree. But as you know we can't remove score nor merge etc.
Sorry but this is not the Atari A. Version. Check the other score to compare.
When returning for Brussels at the airport of Bangkok some security officer was shouting to colleagues when looking in my container box during the scan.
They stood with 4 gazing in my box with my electronics. Seems they didn't have seen a GB Color for a long time. My girlie said these are rare and quiet expensive here.
My girlfriend is from Sissaket Khukhan. Near Cambodia. We spent a lot of time with family and friends doing some 30000 km from Bangkok to Laos and some beaches in the southern region like Rayong and Pattaya.
So lots of local food and drinks
Another low score. Just played it once. Too small for me old eyes. Girlfriend assists in taking picture .
Sorry. Hard to see. But zoom in left corner. Had a higher score but like all AI scores there is no hi score table.
I couldn't play that long as it is so repetitive. And then I prefer to stop otherwise ou start to dislike a game too much. But a great score nevertheless.
Yups. Got that too . But want to try out the BBC for now.
I'll try. Have a 11 hour flight tomorrow morning but noticed now it may be hard to see the GBC screen when there is not that much light.... We'll see. Don't want to take a bigger handheld with.
Cheers
Just a try out with my new Everdrive GBC/GB before leaving three weeks on vacation.
What a boring table. After 4 balls I still had +10 extra balls.
I think you should post your best LAP here instead of the total time
Welcome back Gaz. Yes, better post 49.53 in the seconds fields. This site has issues to post milliseconds by default.
Actually the first time I play this classic.
No dips to show here.
dip switch settings at the end of the video.
Was lucky with 2x 10k bonus.
Cool. Didn't know that. I know the MSX also uses the same SG-1000 hardware. Maybe I should order the GG Everdrive once day.
? Hmmm. That's why this one still requires so many votes. Thanks
This site doesn't allow ,xx scores but we solve this by submitting it like it is now.
Played on my C16 via my C64 that uses 1541 Ultimate II adapter. Only works with .prg files though.
Hi Jes, Great score but you already had 4 million .
This score will replace it. Just my 5 cents.
cheers
Another classic. Played it a lot on my Speccy.
Check the other submission on MAME Bomb Jack. I don't know why Kernzy created this new list as it's probably exactly the same ROM. Maybe delete it here and post it in the full list at:
http://highscore.com/game/?g=10758&enterscore=1
I am certain you can beat me. Kernzy has the WR so that will be really though.
cheers
My first game on my friends C64 back then early 80's. I was immediately in love with the SID chip. I had a Speccy but after some years (finally) got myself also a C64.
Top score (as usual ;) )
I leave it to the Mame experts here. Not the default setting + autofire ? SKipping for now.
Hmmm. I now see this is played in 'User mode'. Which is not the default settings. But okay ;)
That I don't know. You can choose 5 or 6 different carpets.
One of the most annoying and unfriendly tables I played. So many ways the ball goes out in the gutters. I can't control much, too elastic too.
;) Because this is not the Circus table but Circus Retro.
Can only play for a minute or so as I haven't bought this DLC.
Earned during the time bonus the 7th Dan (free ball) and then the timer stops (2 seconds before zero ). Lucky for me I had a great run on that last ball.
In the end why not. It states arcade emulated SLASH Mame. So for me even other arcade emulators like Finalburn are valid under this category. Hell, either under retropie there are many arcade emulators... ok..most are Mame variants. As long as it uses the same rooms I am fine with it.
We don't separate the numerous c64 emulators either do we.
Well that's what I think of it .
Funny. I just ordered an original GB with Tetris.
Arcade mode :
Flippers are lager
Slower ball physics
Tilt disabled
That's what I found on the steam forum since last week. That's why I play only on SIM mode now. Plus you have the achievements too. But then again, there too much achievement ????
"This video is still being processed. Video quality may improve once processing is complete"
It keeps hanging when processing...
Played on simulation mode (aka real table default settings)
Played on simulation mode (aka real table default settings)
Played on simulation mode (aka real table default settings)
Played in Simulation mode aka default (real) table settings.
Oh man. Fond memories. Guess I was 7 or 8 years old.
It will be the latter ;)
I saw your gaming history so I know you have a real Neo Geo. But better also post a picture with the real console in front; so people see it isn't played on emulation.
Cheers
A yes here too.
I use a normal webcam + NCH Debut recording software (after using it with a crack I bought it on a promo deal. Not that expensive and it's a lifetime license).
I also use OBS (free) and that's also a great video recorder. I use it for all my PC games and emulation recordings.
The advantage of those software is that you can add your profile avatar (or any kind of) picture as a watermark. I set the settings on low (no need for HD here).
I'll bump up this score a bit.
cheers
Yeah.. it's a design feature Everytime you hit the back button or reload button it will add again what you posted last.
Yups on all. Pity in my neighbourhood there aren't any arcades. Even in Belgium.. And when there is a retro event, most of them arcade machines are Hyperspin kinda machines...
This took me a lot of replays. I always ended just under the 2.2 million. But finally I can move on
Welcome here Jordi. Nice to see another CPC owner and gamer.
@RetroRob: This is posted correctly. He uses genuine hardware with a flashcard to load the games . That is considered as playing on real hardware. I use myself a Gotek Floppy Emulator on my CPC6128 and Atari ST. It just emulates a disk drive. But indeed, Jordi should have explained it a bit more in detail. The same goes for flashcards for the A2600, Spectrum, C64, Everdrives.... heck almost every system has one :)
I won't play the 5 ball version as this is not a fun table to play.
I just found on my last 5 rounds that you also have flippers on the outer lanes. They only are activated if the ball goes out. Saved me a few times now and makes it more enjoyable.
I just played the original version. What a coincidence.
Difficult table. Can't get much of the achievements too.
Yes. I thought it was your daughter first
Love the lightning of all Zaccaria tables, certainly when you select the 'moon' on the graphic settings. Prefer the way they look over PA.
Must be sitting in my Top 5 most (annoying) difficult games. Lucky it's on free play.
Well, it's one of the better 'older' tables on PA.
Yes here. One of the worst games on the Amiga/atari ST.
JGB is a natural schmupper and Time Crisis hero . 100% trustworthy. Most of the time I am happy with my score until JGB passes by
.
Thanks. It took some sessions. I like this table. Just made it .
I like this kind of pinball. Just don't like the annoying 'music'. Why on earth did they added some 'space invaders' arcade style music. Tedious. Or am I just getting too old :)
I didn't check all but logical here is that if it doesn't mention difficulty setting it's played on default/normal. Plus there is a 'Hard' scoreboard here too.
He posted this in the wrong section. This is played on Hard while this is the Normal scoreboard. Should be removed.
The end credits (not in this video) gives all staff. One title is '(UK) Transplantation staff'
Guess this should have been 'Conversion staff' or so.
I call him Grumpy like I am sometimes
Merci. That's the end of this compilation.
I use the ultimate ii cartridge on the c64 to load the disk directory. Get it ready to load the game and then swap the serial cable to the c16. And then hit enter on the c64 and run it. Then it loads the game in the c16.
Et voila.
Only works with .prg files on a disk.
The c16 has no standard joy ports and don't want to invest in joysticks or converters.
Cheers
Some old score. I use the C64 as middleware to load the image in my C16. Don't have a joystick and as usual with the C16 keyboard controls are so awful placed.
There's no hi-score table (not in-game and not on the menu).
Fun game. Love Z80 games
Just a tad too difficult with the controls. A stick would be better.
Thanks. It wasn't my best run but got lucky with the bonuses.
Let's have some fun...argh. even more frustrating than GNG :)
Finally beat the first boss and discovered you can hold your fire button pressed to activate your 'super power' when you have the golden armor suit. Too difficult for me and my nerves :)
Thanks. Played it a lot when the fair came in town. Didnt had a lot of cash so I played the easier games which could be played for +5 minutes. Like Pooyan, Galaga, 1942...
Why has this such a low legit rating? Don't know this game.
Nice A1200. Custom painted?
Good score. What beer mat did you use for your avatar?
Yeah. I don't like those kind of games where enemies keep spawning continuously.
Played at my girlfriends place so no video. Great device and collection but for me it's too tiny. It's very difficult to see al those tiny bullets. Way below my mame score of +1 million.
Aahhh. My first PSX game. Got one at its release. Still a great arcade racer. Music, sound, chopper, the jump, the voices, feel of racing... It had it all. Although I played Rage Racer more. Still need a lot of practice to get under that 1'.
Never thought I would obtain my highscore with this run so I stopped the video when I crashed. But in the end I had my best score.
Plays a lot easier on the game controls than the MAME version.
Plays a lot smoother and faster than FX2. Almost like Pinball Arcade.
I read about it back then in Crash and always it a very strange game. Never played it though.
Correct platform. Description can be found just under the game title.
Video was about 600MB. I doubt I'll be uploading video again for such long game plays.
FX2...what can I say... tables look good but like this table replay value is near zero as with my 3rd go I became bored.
Ball physics are also less good than Pinball Arcade.
It stores all your passwords. I use it all the time.
Bloody hell. I need more sleep. This is not the right category. Oh well... game on
Sorry. This is the RIGHT category :)
My mistake; wasn't looking correctly.
Bumped it up to 84.2%
Because it's Dosbox and not PC, you probably have the no votes. I still have not voted yet ;)
You should remove this score and post it in the emulated Dosbox category. We prefer on this site to split real genuine hardware vs. emulation. Keep on gaming. Those shareware games were also one my first PC games where I actually had fun.
Wonderfully machine. And always like Wonder Boy. Personally I wouldn't record handheld games as it not 'enjoyable' to play like that.
A yes here.
cheers
The first game I played on my TG16. Great score. Can't top that. Plus, it takes a long time to get so far. I remember having tumb issues after a while.
I don't like Winter Games and that's because of those 2 figure skating events. TOOOO boring. And if she falls I always wanted to kick her
Oh. Great score. I don't think I topped more than 16 back then.
That's not beer. Try some Duvel http://www.duvel.com
I couldn't play Beach Head, although a great game which I owned back then, 9 times
So this plays a bit like Super Pipeline from Taskset (on the C64 amongst others)?
Everyone gets about 2 no votes. And probably from the same person using two devices/accounts. It should be possible by Serious to see that in his code/reports.
Good. It has nice graphs. A bit (easy) boring in the beginning but after some levels, the levels start to get more challenging.
I actually enjoyed this racer. It's fast and much kudos for the engine sounds.
This was had a cool cabinet. Loved it when I was a kid.
Thanks. Good memories with your avatar. I've seen that a lot when I was a youngster.
Hi and welcome here. Was this played on a real PC or via dosbox? Normally no save states allowed. Skipping for now.
Video + dip switch settings might help too. Skipping for now.
It seems a lot 16bit games have a high-score table which is hard to see.
I thought 'my score is low, it will be easily cracked'
Okay, had a go :)
Level 25...screwed 4 or so of my lives. Hoped to get to Doh. Well it's a PB. I am happy for now.
Cheers.
A1200 with WHDload (CompactFlash disk).
This is the AGA version of the game which was firstly released before the A500 version. It has better color, inbetween screens and moodier sounds effects and speech.
Correct score snapshot last picture.
This is the AGA version which apparently first came out. It didn't have a difficulty selection option. It was Hard by default.
Difficulty option was added in the OCS/ECS (Amiga500) version later on. Did find this proof in an early Amiga magazine (see snapshot).
Don't know much about this game nor an see PC but how can we see this is played on expert?
Welcome. Good evidence. Nice homemade cabinet. Still room for a bigger screen
Voting yes.
I must say I played a lot of different 8bit computers and the C16 is the weakest of them all, except for the SID. Not a fun platform. Glad the C64 was a major improvement.
I have. But i wait till these pass thru as they are not so popular
Nice game and idea. Difficult to play with the keys as I don't have a C16 joystick. The C16 has no Atari standard port...
Yeah. Right... I am gonna video record this? lol. Want to see me on the toilet?
Played on a real C16. I use the C64 Ultimate 2 as 'middleware'. It can then read .PRG files that are on a disk (D64).
With Level Hard you don't have the shield under you.
Good first try. Still need lots of other pinball games too play. Too little time :)
Frankie is always a good challenge. And still the Speccy king
I played Red Heat on the Amiga last week and it was like ...umph...naked butts passing by .. Lol.. I left the highest score to Frankie...hahahaha... No fuss Frankie
Welcome here. Please submit more and enjoy some competition.
And don't use the backspace on your browser when writing. That's why you double post your stuff
And thanks for starting to process our old requests
It's via Whdload. Kinda virtual hard disk but then on a compact flash. No disk swapping anymore and speedier
Indeed. One of the major faults of 8 and 16 bit computers to follow that standard.
You can hold the fire button down to have auto fire by default. Makes it a bit easier.
WHDload on A1200. This is the AGA Version (7 disks). The OCS/ECS version came on 5 disks. One button bashing although you can hook up a CD32 pad (two button support) but I don't have one.
Thanks for the info. I did notice the combo shots but didn't know it was max. 3. Will remember it next time I play it. Cheers
Taking all pictures took also quite some time.
Thanks for the voting. Always do the same. Cheers
Boring he
I just fill up the levels which already exist.
Aarrgghh. I bought this two weeks ago on steam (5€) after having played this a decade or so go on a cracked version. Too addictive...one more go...
Yes :'In the future, the world is controlled by corporations rather than governments, and wars are fought in a dream world rather than in reality. The corporations can control dream demons to defeat their foes, but resistance fighters still defy them. The player is one of these resistance fighters hoping to rescue some friends from the control of Ocular, the mightiest of all dream demons.'
Don't try it :)
Crap game. Crap score.
Played on ZX + 128k. Final. Up to another platform :)
Excellent score. I am pretty sure Frankie will boot his Amiga again soon.
Found some reference:
http://allincolorforaquarter.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/the-ultimate-so-far-history-of-allied.html
Nice reading
I believe this was made by the Stamper brothers (Ultimate Play The Game) when they were still making arcade games
Glory Speccy days afterwards with JetPac, Knightlore, Sabre Wulf,.... and now called RARE.
It's okayiah. Not a very popular table I see. The continuously zooming sound is quite annoying but for the rest a good old table.
Controls were difficult. And it was not a good game. Too slow..
Excellent score. And I don't think there are many bad conversions of this game.
Sorry still fiddling with OBS after my windows crash.
Sorry, messed up my initials. Another dull game which was raved by Crash...
A different setup. Now with the 128K+ toastrack as my +2 gives me sound issues (probably capacitors issues). The toastrack gives me also a steadier picture.
This Speccy version is such a let down...just 'played' it once. Crash gave it a 43% which is still too much.
Sorry for the blurryness. Updated OBS to the latest version and still need to find out what's the best settings versus file load. Video available if you doubt.
Still don't know exactly what to do in this game. Never did. You need to write down the symbols for the teleports and have an elephant memory to memorize the 500 screens.
Great score. My personal best is 632650 but that's already from april 1990. Don't think I can handle that much now.
Great. Gives some nice competition.
Keyboard player all the way here. Enjoy some dead flesh
Correct.
Maxwel, as a black belt owner here I am pretty sure you know this is emulation and not original arcade PCB.
I once went to a retro event and thought to add arcade scores too, but they were all Pandora boxes or retropie in the end. So I didn't even care playing them (and post scores) as I can do that on my own cabinet at home.
So please submit them to the right category. Thanks
greeetss
Hmmm. I was wondering why the Speccy version 4*400m Relay was a running track and on the C64 it's a swimming pool :)
You mixed up here. This is Freestyle Relay and not 4*400m Relay.
Double post with : http://highscore.com/scores/Commodore64Emulated/SummerGames/52665
Annoying thing on this site is that you can't remove it anymore. The only way to replace this score is to place a new score.
It can happen. Cheers.
Times 10 is not 540 . Thanks Frankie. It was a long working week with tedious and complex price calculations. 'Best' attempt at the end of the vid.
No hi-score table. The game doesn't even give you a final score view.
Indeed. Tons of games. Never thought back then when the 8 bit era was gone, I would be playing it again some 30 years later
Hi
Should be played on normal level instead of easy like the other submissions.
Not a good score. But more enjoyable than the dreadful C64 version.
No problem. It was sitting there already quite some time
Welcome here.
Voting yes too. Your initials in the hi score table are okayish for me. Unless you didnt play it on a real MD.
One '84 review said "Fairly duff arcade shootout"
It's okayish for a shot or two ;)
And it was made by Hudson Soft. Something special for a Speccy game. Guess it is also a very rare game as I couldn't find another copy on Ebay.
The damn hi-score table doesn't like the Spectrum +2 I think. Could only enter numbers.
I appreciatie it you resubmit scores the right way nog
Excellent Defender clone. My brain was more struggling with the keys combinations.
No hi-score table.
If you complete stage 1 and you die, you restart with the score you achieved at the end of stage 1. So you need to reload the game and start over from scratch. Video desired thus.
First time I play Alien 8. There is no end of score table. So my first and only activated chamber is at 3'50". This version feels a lot like Speccy version .
Sorry about the mispelled name/ I reprogrammed the keys so i could play it with the keys but apparently i 'lost' the I.
Not a really high score. Level Medium see top right. No video.
I've played all other songs but won't request them as it takes ages before new request are added. I've got some VIC20/C16 already 6 months waiting....
LOL.
I was not awake enough probably. I thought you scored 20 BILLION
No 20 million isn't that great but you had fun. Cheers
Wow. What a surprise. Didn't know you were such an excellent Pinball player
Thanks. I believe it was never released and just some prototypes were made.
Video recording was all black as OBS was still configured to Steam Zaccaria .
What an original game idea. Plant seeds, protect them and then plant the trees and protect them in the next level... 8bit at it's best.
Dead by fish
I remember this game review in the French magazine 'Tilt'. Larquey will know that multi platform magazine. It seemed very colourful. But guess it's quite repetitive.
Which device are you using to record as it is a very quality. Better than my webcam stuff that is.
Voting yes of course.
Thanks. Yeah, this pinball collection isn't that great. Too much pre 70's tables.
Never had this game when I was a kid. And it's a great arcade game. Also building up the score the further you go. Plus you only receive the bonuses if you shoot the end of sector alien ship. Nice touches for score addicts. McKong is unreachable for me
It's a actually a copy of the arcade game Space Panic.
http://www.mobygames.com/game/arcade/space-panic
No probs. It does get repetitive at Beginner levels. Advanced & Expert levels are more challenging. Keep em coming.
Yups. All three as in the video you see the helis don't shoot. But as said, it's ok for me. I just enjoyed a good game. cheers
No issue for me as I played that score for 2 hours and then discovered it was way too easy. I knew beating McKong wasn't that easy
. So I replayed it and it is much tougher and more enjoyable. Very good and original shoot'em up.
No probs for me. It just seemed it was good protected and crackers made some errors on cracking it. See first comment on : http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-wavy-navy_5736.html
cheers
This is the orginal (and good) version. Helis fire back (and they do it good...) and planes swift differently. Much tougher than the cracked version you can find e.g. on the Games107.dsk.
Thanks Bunzen for the link.
"Helicopters which don't shoot ARE the failure, caused by cracked copies that don't have all the data. Zero out the last 100 or 200 bytes of a working copy and they will stop shooting. Another bug in a popular cracked file version loses multicolor on screen when waiting for player to press fire for starting new waves. "
Just found out for myself after playing this copy and a score of +150k that this is not the correct copy (bad crack). This is the correct game file:
http://a8.fandal.cz/detail.php?files_id=3420
More difficult as the helis shoot back and the planes swift differently.

Don't worry. Got also one no vote on all my submissions. Once Serious adds the no/yes percentage on our profile info he will be revealed.
Fun to see your competition between baldbull and you.
Yep. Only made it to the end of Area 2.
Amazing stuff. I never have the patience to learn patterns. Gets me itchy
But I do enjoy playing it once in a while.
I remember this cabinet with its very big steer. Good score!
I guess so. Since the MSX joystick had two separate fire buttons. Not like our dear Speccy ;)
First time I play Pitfall and honestly I didn't dig it. Very repetitive.
no hi-score table.
Played on 800XL + Sio2SD virtual disk
no hi-score table.
Played on 800XL + Sio2SD virtual disk
You've got plenty of scores ;)
Just enjoying my (late) summer vacation with quite some retro gaming time .
The advantage of NOT being married
Thanks. Uploaded a new snapshot of the video.
Barely made it
Score rolls over at 100k + 4590 = 104590
Thanks. It isn't that high. But okayish for now.
Never played this one. Don't know what to do at the end of stage 1...
No hi-score table. It was a bit difficult to get a clear score shot.
Played on my JXD gaming tablet. Speed 1 is wayyyy too slooowww. Not enjoyable to play. So I gave up after a while with 12 lives left.
I haven't seen one since I was 8 or 9. Still remember the chipping sounds.
I'll be damned. I just played this on the PS2, same settings as MAME (Normal) and I almost tripled my PB. Maybe I should retry the MAME version someday. Namco Arcade Stick = Top quality!
Hi Storm and Welcome here. I am skipping on this submit as it should be posted under Emulation. Please re-post. Thanks and game on.
It plays like Mame . Just a pity the compilation only works with the Dualshock and not the Namco Arcade Stick.
Finally a recent pinball machine (2016). But it crashes each time... So I just played 2x.
Moody gameplay.
Space Gun is part of the Taito Legends Compilation. Default level = Easy
difficile = difficult = hard level
Last picture is difficult to see difference between 8 and 6; please refer to the prior picture or the video if you doubt.
Sigh...I still had 4 lives when I missed one bugger letting to destroy my base....aarghhh
HMM. Yes, never thought about replacing it. I found only one currently on ebay. Should be ok I guess. And it's a kit, so should be much easier to replace than just the lens. I am not a handy man like you ;)

Difficile = Difficult = Hard Level
Only 1 life on Hard Level. Was surprised it went so well. Even better than my PB on Medium (Mame default level).
To play copies...doh :)
But the DVD laser is dead and it only reads CD's. But I have another slim PS2 :)
Good shooter. But it did had some slow down when there was much on screen.
Almost as good as JBoorman. LOL.
Well it is PB for me and first time played after 15 years or so. This is Playstation at his best. Immediately bought Time Crisis 1 on PSX when it came out. Excellent arcade stuff.
The only flaw here is that it doesn't show your end score. I guess only when you complete the game it saves your score.
1P Challenge Mode. I didn't request this game. It already existed and was empty. Don't know who is games admin for PS2 as I do have some requests standing out.
A surprising fun puzzle game. And excellent music.
As long as it is not higher you may...l o l .
Most, if not all of these tables, are available on the PC (Pinball Arcade). This compilation isn't that great. Too much old tables. But the physics are good, no slow downs.
Thanks. I never had a console till the Playstation 1. Although I liked the racing games, I found that era the end of classic gaming where you 'battle' for scores. There are practically no original 128bit games where you can go for a score.
3 balls only. Proof at beginning of video and last picture.
This is the 'Normal' default level. More enjoyable than the baby version ;)
1 minute after submitting the asshole no voter came in. Hope you're proud.
It's 10.30am GMT +1 here.
Now that was fast ;)
I guess it is played on 'Easy' as it is a bit confusing when you select the 'Level' at the beginning of the game. You just exit I assume on Medium without saving, so you stay on 'Easy'. Just to be sure :)
Great score btw.
Never was really good at those cutishy platformers.
Seems the games admin translated Larquey's request 'Difficile' to 'Difficult'. Should be 'Hard' in English ;)
Modded Silver PS2.
Pity the Namco Arcade Stick doesn't work with this compilation...Playing with the Dualshock isn't great. But okayish for now.
no hi-score table. Another bad conversion; but then again it had to be cramped in 16K.
I use my C64 Ultimate II device to mount the virtual disk/tape. And then reconnect the serial cable to the C16. So I can load the disk. A bit tedious but I don't intend to buy a flashcard for the C16.
Also don't have a C16 joystick (non Atari standard). So it's up to keyboard play only. But then you can see I play it on the C16 for real.
I don't expect many good games to come :)
Well.. it was my last Speccy score. Up to another platform
Frankie's game.
Now I also where your initials come from
from the manual:
THE ZTT ROOM: Break down the wall to enter the control section and then solve the puzzle. Use the Power of Zap to fire but be careful to dodge the bullets. (Remember you must complete the puzzle to win.)
Great score. But why do you submit this score as it is lower than your current number 1 score?
First time I play this obscure game. And I wasn't impressed. Quite boring after a while.
OK. Found it. Your file is just too big. We capped at 2MB. And yours are +2 MB ;)
Try to crop them. or lower your resolution o your camera ;)
Maybe Karkula will raise the cap but we want to avoid too much HD space.
