This archive contains over 3000 games, should keep you going for a while!
We usually use http://a8.fandal.cz/ or http://www.atarimania.com/atari-400-800-xl-xe.html
It's a low score so it seems a shame that some people are sad enough to vote 'No'!
People who get really good at this game end up retiring at 1,000,000.
Thanks for your votes
We're currently playing this in Atariage.com A8-bit HSC.
You're right it does get fast in the second round, I've got to the 4th round, after a bit of practice.
One guy has completed the game, all 7 rounds!
It's a SIO2SD
Not sure, there was any need to vote 'no'. I put my initials in the table, plus I already hold the record for this game...
It's nothing personal! I think you still have a couple of hundred others
The Atari 8-bit version was pretty easy to complete. From memory you have to
play through the game twice to get to the treasure. The second time through the ninja and the green guy are faster and tougher to kill.
I only found out recently that there was a 2nd game which sadly never made it to the Atari 8-bit platform. Hopefully one day someone will do the port
Always loved this game on the Atari never played it on the C64
Yeah didnt go much on it either. Maybe it gets better as you collect more weapons?
Is the secret room on this version? Thats the key to a big score. Think it appears every 20 levels if you havent lost a life
I've only played this game a few times and I'm not that good at it so I'm sure it can be beaten!
Yeah I collected a lot of them a few years ago. There are more than you think!
Nice to see an original cart being played! I've always liked this game. Good score!
Good response. I'm going to wait for my 77k score to go 'legit' before I post my next score
I'm sure I used to be able to get over that lake, but couldn't when i tried recently. Perhaps I'm remembering the arcade version? I like this game but I think the 'lake jump joystick waggle' spoils it a bit
No 800XL and Paddles
I will attempt a response at some point!
Great score by the way!
Damn it took me ages to beat the previous record! I tried every day for a couple of weeks!
Yes a very good game, I always found it difficult though.
I heard that Tower Toppler was similar, I'll have to have a look one day
Oops so I have, thanks!
Finally got into the secret diamond room! 400k+ points to be had in there!
No you start from level 1. I think what happened was that as I lost my last life i had the joystick button pressed and it started a new game using the next credit! Its a great game, really fun with two players
Thanks, but sorry to say that I will have already voted on all of your scores!
I was waiting for my other score to mature, seemed a shame to waste the points
Sorry the photo is so dark, I didn't realise the flash was switched off on the camera!
Is that the perfect score?
Yes thats what I'm using
That was my aim but only got to level 27, I've read that there are 33. I'll keep trying!
It is a difficult game but its made much easier by using paddles I've discovered
Yeah, I didn't realise just how easy it would be! Much more difficult on 'Normal' though, I only managed 50k!
I was planning on playing again soon. But for now working on Green Beret and Arkanoid!
Such a good game, my brother and I used to play on this for hours. We completed it a few times, using all the credits of course!
I would say theres a good chance. On the C64 paddles are a controller option on the first screen and i'm using 2600 paddles.
This is the first time I've played it for years, i was never any good at it. I changed to paddles instead of a joystick and that made a lot of difference. The C64 version seems to give out a bonus life every 20k, which is a bit generous I think
I had to google Spacemaster X-7 Had never heard of it!
I enjoyed Abracadabra more, quite a good game, worth trying. Although couple of things let it down.
It's surprisingly difficult!
Not played this one before. It's a tough little game, I need more practice!
The score comes from the Atari 8-bit HSC on atariage
Completed Hard way on hard!
Completed Hard way on medium!
A 'Yes' vote from me!
I'll have to give this ago, as I've played the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version a lot in recent years. The C64 was the first platform I played this game on.
Completed Middle road on hard!
Completed Middle Road on hard!
Completed Easy street on hard!
Completed Middle road on medium!
And my score wasnt good enough to win what round!
One of my favourite Atari games!

I'll put this one on my 'to play' list.
A 'Yes' from me!
Not a game I remember playing before.
Yeah you'll need lots of credits to practice the latter parts of the game!
I've been playing this one a lot recently. I'm trying to get through to the end of the first run through on one credit. Not easy, at least for me anyway!
Have played SR 1 and 2 but not this one.
I played this for the 1st time recently on the Atari. I good game, and completable, with some practice.
Loved this game, I keep trying to get them to play it on the Atari high score club but no one votes for it!
Yes from me!
Yes from me. Played this no so long ago, couldn't beat the helicopter on the 2nd level if I remember correctly!
Great score, great game, used to love playing this in two player mode with my brother!
Wow watch this video! not sure I'll ever beat this game it gets really difficult!
Area 5 seemed to be getting very hard, not sure i'll be able to get to the end of area 6!
I played that game to death for a couple of weeks to achieve that score, and it still wasn't good enough to win that round of the HSC! I tried a while ago to beat it myself but didn't really get close.
The game is good cos it slowly ramps up the difficulty, maybe too slowly for some. When you get good you can go through dozens of levels! I'll have to play it again soon
One of my favourites, we had it on cassette when I was a kid!
This score is from Atariage 8-bit HSC
This is a tricky game but worth playing if you get chance. I remember playing for hours to get to level 18 and then couldn't work out how to beat it. I got to the point where I thought that it was impossible and that there was a design flaw in this level.
This is an excellent game, worth playing if you haven't before. Get the v4 fixed version from atarionline.pl as there was a bug in the original version that stopped you completing level 11.

One of the best budget games ever made for the Atari 8-bit
I don't remember anything about this game! I know I played it for the first time in HSC.
Looking at the HSC records, the record for this game is 48k so my score wasn't too bad!
Always liked this game. A 'Yes' from me!
This score comes from Atariage A8-bit HSC
I tried playing yesterday and after a few goes managed to get to level 6, I think.
I remember it took a lot of playing to get good at. Good luck!
I'm retro posting scores from the atariage HSC, any new ones I'll post with my name on.
The link to the HSC shows the context of the score
I had to look back through the HSC thread to remind myself of how this game works. It looks like I played through the first 5 skills, so 5 times throught the game. Apparently there isn't a skill 6 and the game just repeats skill 5.
How are you getting on with it?
Its a fun game, always liked it.
Glad to see someone else playing this cool game. Just voted for your score
Been having a go at this again, 126k so far, need more practice!
I thought it was a good score but it didnt come close to the winning score that round which was 1,000,000+ i think!
Yes there are lots of fantastic games out there for the Atari, many that i only discovered by playing in the HSC
Its a tough game, TRBB got further than me if i remember correctly

Not a game I've played much, I'll have to did the cart out
Its worth playing again, once you work out each of the screens big scores are achievable
Having played this in A8-bit HSC 10 this is now one of my favourite Atari games
This score comes from A8-bit HSC 10 round 12
Played this one in A8-bit HSC last year
This score comes from A8-bit HSC. A really good game but gets very difficult towards the end. To date I haven't been able to complete it but got very close on a couple of occasions
Played this one in A8-bit HSC last year, worth a play if you haven't already
Used to love playing this game not sure I ever got that good at it though, perhaps time to fire up the C64 soon
Haven't played Bruce Lee 2 on the C64 yet but intend to cos I saw the videos on YouTube and it looks good!
Last played in A8-bit HSC. Retired this game as it doesn't get any harder after the 2nd run through and gives out too many extra lives. Still one of the best A8-bit games IMO. I hope someone ports Bruce Lee 2 one day
Screenshot from A8-bit HSC
Very good game, worth a play. Last played it in A8-bit HSC
Thanks for your votes, I've just returned the favour!
Thanks for your vote. No, I won't let it worry me, I'm not sure why anyone would bother to post a fake score but then there are some strange people out there! Equally I'm not sure why anyone would vote 'no' on another persons score!
We're playing Pooyan over at HSC and by the looks of your HSC record (1,000,000+) I've got a lot of improving to do!
This is a great game that I played for the first time recently in the Atariage A8-bit HSC. Worth a go if you haven't played it before
Yeah thanks. I'm posting some screenshots from the Atari 8-bit HSC. I'll consider adding my ID to any new screenshots
I guess it's easier for people to dismiss a good score than try to beat it!
Most of my scores come from playing in the Atariage HSC
