Thanks, I've played this one for years and was just happy for the 1CC finally.
Thanks! Same here, this was my first time playing this game as well. I really only wanted to finish the game but had time to try a few runs with the point pressing. Fun game, might try Black Dragon sometime when I have time just to see how much more difficult it is.

It's a Divoom Timebox EVO http://www.divoom.com/product/timebox-evo.html .. got it as a Xmas present last year.
Cool to see you playing some C64 games Omar! Easy Yes vote!
Thanks, we just got through playing this in the MGL.. sadly this score isn't even close to the WR or the Tournament top score
Gracias Senor Omar!
Rollover at 13m25s.
Yep, it's a #2 allright :) It's essentially Xevious skinned over with real bosses. Fun game, took me quite a few plays to finally get this long play clear done.
Thanks, but I'm no master at this game. Played this for the current MGL and was about 30k less than the 1st place score...
Yep, it's not the best port of the game. The Atari 8-Bit version seems to be the best, much smoother.
Mark, how come you aren't playing on Twin Galaxies? There's some good 2600 guys there always battling it out.
Tornado Spinner... I built a custom 1 button stick using an old enclosure I had collecting dust. Still doesn't quite feel like playing on a real Arkanoid cab, but very close.
Thanks GTI.. I just hit 24k and hoping to get closer to 30k which is very possible.
I actually never counted the # of clears, but 30+ is probably about right. Good luck, it's a beast of a marathon.
I actually like Revenge of Doh much more, but this is a pretty damn good port.
I played this months ago on TG... Requests that track to be created here around that same time.. I must have missed it being created until I saw your score. Tough game! Wanted to hit 200k, but tapped out with this score.
Nice one Omar!
Congrats Jes! I barely remember playing this one...
The TG WR for this one is 112 pts... so I still have a lot of work to do to catch that. Thanks Mark!
Score: 227.9 * 10 = 2279.
Give it a try... weird sweeping movement with this game that take a while to get used to. We just finished playing this game in the latest MGL round.
Web Cam to show hardware, ElGato HD Game Capture to capture actual game video and OBS to put those all together to make the video.
First 1 million roll over @ 53m24s, second roll over @ 1h44m50s. Final score @ 1h57m.
Score rolls over @ 1h49m. Final score @ 2h02m.
Score rolls over in 2nd video @ 49m52s when the score hit 1 million. Final score @ 1h03m17s.
Will do, thanks!
HS can't do decimal scores so 10 * 10 = 100. Cheers!
101 I believe. I've played this so many times that if there is a higher score, it's near to impossible to get.
Loved this game as kid! Happy Birthday, Yes vote here!
You'll need WolfMame .199 to play as INP files are required. The high score on this game is insane.. good competition going on there and fun to participate.
Thanks, yeah, this one is one of the first 10 games in the Crap Tournament 10.. pretty sh1tty game but kind of fun.
Derek, the troll killer!
Yeah, weird one.. it's one of the first 10 games in the current Crap Tournament...
Whaaaaaaa? Nice score dude!
Ha, awesome evidence!
It's a shame old booboo fingers autofire score is still #1 on this... oh well.
Run begins @ 26m41s. Final score @ 29m54s.
Race begins @ 1m29s
Thanks, just got it a few weeks ago.
Run begins @ 18m46s.
10'9" = 129 inches. This site can't handle decimals so converting to inches to match other similar tracks. Run begins @ 4m17s.
Run begins @ 12m23s.
Run begins @ 5m26s. Final score @ 9m48s.
Yep, you can revive your shields often when you get hit by landing on the ground. TB-303 discovered a dead zone/pattern where you get hit but don't lose shields.. check out https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/188033 .. TB-303 was able to score 100k...
Score flips @ 28m12s @ 10,000 points.
Race begins @ 4m52s. Played on Commodore SX-64.
Insane, great score dude!
Very cool, first time I've seen one of those. Thanks!
Is that a C64C painted black? Nice score, tough game.
Run begins @ 4m10s
Run begins @ 4m54s.
Yep, great score man. I think you've got that game well mastered.
Run begins @ 10m00s.
Huge score, nice work!
Nope, it's "Rodney Recloose"... but obviously modeled against Rodney D.
Awesome, you got this one working! Great score!
I have bad news for you Omar....
You can still play for fun even though this and commando are closed out.
Yep, unfortunately this site can't do decimals... so for some and most of these games we either convert to total inches or multiply * 100 for decimal scores.
Scored in inches. 14' 3" = 171 total inches.
Run begins @ 4m36s
I think it's either Soda or some kind of energy drink. The European version of this game is called "Milk Race", milk bottles in that one.
Oh relax, I'm laughing at the back and back scores.. good game play by both. I'll check it out one of these days. I'm working on way too many games right now as it is. Just beat this score, I want to see how this one ends or maybe this is the end?
Asistente de pinball!
Wow, looks like a nice shmup. Didn't look like it kept score though...
218.7 * 100 = 2,187 as this site doesn't do decimal scores.
Nope, this one isn't on the mini. Do you have a SD2IEC drive? It the easiest solution to dealing with all those old games on old media.
Oh wow, that was the sci-fi show with puppets, right? I don't own that one but know the rom is fairly easy to find. I just checked the game out and it's sort of a puzzle game but there may be more to it than just the first level. I also just requested it here as it has score.
Thanks! Yep, this is my one and only C64 cartridge, just grabbed it off Ebay for more than I wanted to pay, but well worth it.
Tetas y pinball, bien!
Thanks! Yep, just playing most of these an extra few times to see if I can up my previous scores a tad
Yep, finally played this one many, many, many times...
10.,0 x 10 = 100. This site still doesn't do decimal scores....
Jump score @ 5m23s
Yep, I follow you Oyama. It is odd that the C64 version of Commando wasn't programming to allow for more than 6 digits in the score.
In time Jes
First Rollover @ 1h02m30s
Second Rollover @ 2h01m11s
Wow, that was quick! Congrats!
Thanks, but I'm not sure how much better I can do than this.. 50kish seems reachable only by passing that 5th or 6th board.. but it's so damn tough.
Try it out. It's one of the best home brews on the C64 if not the best.
Final score @ 10m5s
Cool, yeah, I'm going to play this one again sometime down the road and post my best to TG. Stay tuned :P
Yeah, I figured you could play as Wild, but just went with Lucky. I'd have to play it as Wild to know if there's a scoring diff. If you figure it out before me, ping me on discord or reply here. If there is a difference, we can create a "Wild" track I guess.
Awesome, do that. I will try to get this game added over on Twin Galaxies as well. Solid home brew.
Oh wow, I didn't even know that was an option. I'll play this one again soon and get a real score up there. I really thought this was just a simple shooter. Thanks.
Actually, run begins @ 4m27s
Run begins @ 2m53s
I just looked at the dips in the latest version of Mame and it's 3 lives, very easy, time = off... older versions of mame may have these defaults different. One more reason each track here should have a per game dip rule list.
Run begins @ 5m36s
Final score @ 28m50s
Serious - https://twitter.com/SeriousAtari .. yeah, some times it feels like abandonware here as he doesn't interact much. He goes MIA for months and hasn't addressed many of the questions and concerns we have regarding bad scores, cheaters, etc. The site is still fun if you over look those things and some other flaws.
Is that Rick Grimes from TWD as your avatar?
Just joking around with you dude. You like to talk a lot of smack, so I thought I'd smack you back That evidence on the #1 score is garbage. You should have this record, not Robotron.
Final Score @ 10m46s
Bwahahhaa! I think Madonna, ABBA or even the Golden Girls theme song might be a more fitting song for this game play Save the Crue for a better game TK.
Final Score @ 11m8s
Ha! Yeah, this game is uniquely demented. I only remembering seeing it once in the arcade as a kid..
Sooo close! Great score Ivan!
Give it a try anyways.. I hit 16 on the C64 version and have been trying for 17 for a while now with no luck. One of these days!
Final Score @ 8m38s
Final Score @ 40m10s
Final score @ 13m43s
Really? I like the Colecovision version better than this one. The later 2nd release of this game on the C64 is better than both though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptZ8iyJJh0E

Oh, and Final score jump @ 5m42s
Score: (218.0 * 10) = 2180.
Score: (10 * 10) = 100 (decimal fix since the site doesn't allow for them)

High Score Jump @ 3m24s
High Score Jump @ 6m11s.
Yep, all versions of this game run like that on all computers, Apple, C64, Atari emulated or on original hardware. It appears Broderbund was pushing the limits of those machines with this game. This is a game someone should remake or hack to work at a normal speed. It's still a reall fun game.
Final Score @ 4m20s
Final Score @ 21m23s
Final Score @ 5m25s
Final Score @ 21m56s
This is the original, no crack. I tried a few of the versions, cracked and settled on this version as it appears to be the original. You can find it @ http://www.planetemu.net
Yep, some of these are super confusing when it comes to cracked and altered versions. They all seem to play the same though, for the most part. If I got a 8k bonus, my score would probably be 40k more...

Great score JES!
MameUI, latest. Any MAME exe should support Bezels. You just need to download the Bezel file and enable them in MAME.
Nope, Commodore 64 raid His name just happens to be attached to many of the C64 high scores.
Final Score @ 2m9s
Yep, still working on clearing this game on one credit.. but I think I may have another 10 years or so of practice to go :P
It can, but I only loaded it with 10-20 games as this was my first time using it. I have a 32GB SD card which is more than enough to fit just about every rom.
I don't have any experience with Atari800Win, sorry. I use MAME as it has a 5200 system rom.
Final Score @ 6m31s
Final Score @ 15m33s
Final Score @ 5m10s
Final Score @ 4m33s
Final Score @ 7m37s
Yep, pretty smooth. I've only played the TI-99 version and like this one much more.
Final Score @ 8m12s
I did try the 2600 version and put it on my list to check out again. My name will be up there at some point.
Final Score @ 4m59s
You son of a... ha! Great score... This is my least favorite port of this game but I might try it again. Do you have a C64?
I love the fact that you can shoot the music note in game to turn music on/off.
hey Paul, Matt. It took many plays on most of these to even come close to your scores. You're very hard to avoid in the C64 emulated cat as you hold quite a few records. Cheers dude.
What can I say... any game where you shit on cars is worth playing :P
Final Score @ 5m3s
Final Score @ 14m20s
Final Score @ 10m51s
Nope, I've only played the original Midway version. Hmmm.. What version of MAME are you using? Maybe try clearing out the NVRAM directory in the root of your MAME dir? I've rarely had problems with Roms not loading.. hope that helps.
Request "Blue Print [blueprntj]" would be the only other option I guess until you can figure that out. Good luck man!

Cool, I don't think I've ever played Bongo. I'll add it to my long list of games to check out. Thanks!
Final Score @ https://youtu.be/_d9O2sPKxew?t=5m45s
Pretty good home brew, but I'm not so much into the button mashing these days.
Yeah it is... Looks like we both got stuck at the tree boss.
Yep, more than usual.... Sent you a message on Discord.
Yep, 75 is the default, I played a round earlier this evening...
I don't think I ever played JMSTF on easy... but owned it back in the Genesis days. Great game for that time.
Tom Brady, 724 Yards Passing.
Yep, this was the big test run, first game play captured.
End of Game Score @ 4:00
Man, is there any console or computer you don't have?
Hopefully you are playing that with the volume off
Last night was my first time playing this computer and I have to agree. Bottom barrel game play...
Yep, not a very good game
Yep, no way to rotate the gun or shoot sideways... Sadly, this is better than some of the other arcade ports.
Wow, I just played this version. Props to you for getting this score. It seems near to impossible to even past the 2nd level.
The game was last night. Philadelphia won.
I think you failed to watch the entire video...
You changed the options from default to easy and changed Shurikens = 10 to 100. This is supposed to be played on default settings....
Julio Jones, 619 yards receiving.
Thanks Larquey, and yes on yours also.
Once again, here's another one that carries over the score on continue... hack.
The score does NOT reset on continue.
Instead of posting a short list of games you cheated on, how about making a short list of games you actually played legit?
No way in hell you got this score first time playing. Lying and cheating again Ichigo.
First time ever playing this was at Comicpalooza?
Do it! Did either of you play this one back in the day at the arcade? I don't remember every seeing this one in the early days.
Wrong category, this one should be emulated.
I have most of them framed, a few hung and the others ready to hang, just been too busy playing games :P
How many continues were used on this one? I see the score continues if the player continues... argghh
Ha, yep, I have a small collection of them, most framed and ready to hang. Voted yes on your OBC score. What were they thinking with that background "Music" or noise? I had to turn down my volume when playing this one as it was destroying my ears
I requested it over a year ago... Fortunatly Baz was so kind to push through quite a # of new game requests including this one. I have the original arcade Marquee for this game which is much better than the game is
Yes on all of your scores, you've been busy!
Final score @ https://youtu.be/O4VYCiVUzjE?t=5m38s .. no initial entry or high score table on this one.
98 - 14 = 84 pts.
Joe Montana, 943 yards passing.
Jerry Rice, 943 yards receiving.
Sounds good, I just killed the other two scores and will wait for you to create all of the variations to re-submit.
Wow, what a mess the game tracks are on this one. I'm just going to leave the other 2..
Deleting and moving to the correct category.
Well, that's one more game score ruined. Add this one to the list of Drive-by cheats then. I might still give it a try and beat the 2nd place score.
Oh well.. 20k is a good score in this one as it's so tough.. 122k is obviously a bit over the top, maybe doable if this was the only game you played for 5 years and got lucky one round :)
Fun system, feels and reminds me of the Vic-20 a bit. Thanks for the inspiration to check it out. If it wasn't for they keyboard only play, I'd probably check out most of the games.
Pretty sure, I played the game a # of times. I only found one version of this game that didn't have a trainer and that was the version I played at first. When I saw this I fired up the trainer version and was able to replicate this same thing, didn't get to that score, but it would be super easy. All of the ships were won playing on invincible.. It's a very tough version of Centipede.
Held the AFC to 0 yards rushing and 53 yards receiving = 53 yards.
Emmitt Smith, 73 rushing attempts.
Emmitt Smith, 302 yards rushing.
Steve Young, 518 yards passing.
AFC - 0 Yards rushing + 69 yards receiving = 69.
Jerry Rice, 14 Receptions.
Jerry Rice, 406 yards receiving.
I know right.. weird game.
I just fired this one up in Vice, and noticed that this user has unlimited guys enabled. See all the ships to the right? He took this screenshot while still playing. At the end of the game, it displays 0 ships.
This is one of those games that goes instantly to the initials entry screen on end of game. "ASB" is me... there's no RUB option so no way to correct. Cheers!
I'll be back!
Wrong category JML. Should be emulated.
Sí aquí señor!
It never is, but I'm set with Zaxxon for a while. Looking forward to your next score!
It's all up to you now... pressures on!
@JES Your record was short lived... now hand over that crown!
Jes, I have really bad news for ya...
Yes here as well, excellent score!
14 1st Downs.
1 first down allowed.
Michael Irvin 15 Receptions.
30 yards rushing and 10 yards passing = 40.
I looked that up a while back. Just 3, Commodore 64, Atari 2600 and the Atari 5200. The Atari 8-Bit version is one of the many 5200 cartridges ported by users to work on the Atari 8-Bit computers.
It's not much different, just crappier graphics, a tad easier and the Monster doesn't appear until 3 or 4 rounds in from what I remember. I cleared 5 rounds in this one and finally got taken down in the 6th...
Ditto here, great scores! Oh man, Diddy Kong... all I remember is that last and final track being so <censored> tough...
Andre Reed 396 yards receiving.
Give it a try. It's been my favorite Arcade game since it was released back in '86.
Yep, those red bombs are the worst. Almost as bad as the damn potted plants that randomly fall from the top. I still don't see any pattern in those... so I'll assume it's random.
The Twin Galaxies highest MAME score is 103,350... insane. I'll enjoy this score for now and expect to see you exceed it in the future.
Great score! I can barely remember playing this one, but I thought I had a pretty solid score.. I was obviously wrong on that, you clobbered my score! Yes vote as always here.
@JES Ask and you shall receive. My best round ever in this game, but my hands are mush now... button mashing fun
You should try some of the other versions. Atari 8-Bit port is pretty good.
Jim Kelly, 575 yards passing.
Thurman Thomas, 540 yards rushing.
Nice Starfigher stick. I went through a ton of those as a kid. I miss that grinding noise it made when you pushed in any direction. Yes vote here!
It's very brutal. I will never, ever attempt to play this game again
Looks like you did some practicing!
Damn, very nice!
Any idea when they are expected to ship? I backed them around 2+ years ago on IndieGogo.. still waiting for the originally promised full size The64, but it appears they are going to give early backers the mini for free, then ship the full size out when that's ready to go.
I don't believe those are trolls voting NO on his scores. Those votes are most likely the regular honest users on the site who have a great sense of humor, but care about the legitamacy of the site and are now forced to vote NO on his scores. He'll cheat again as he did after being called out many times now over the years.
I recently learned that you are the only user on AtariAge who has to include video for your scores due to your past actions. Is that true? Did you cheat there?
Joe Montana, 856 yards passing.
98 - 10 = 88
Jerry Rice 856 yards receiving.
Bo Jackson with 868 yards rushing.
Was that the C64DTV? You should grab a C64 Mini when those are released in the next few months.
You might also want to try MAME. I've been playing most of the console's and computer scores on that and have had maybe one app crash.
Nope, just the game.. I'm pretty sure this is a boot leg.
Correction: Hot Dog, not Ski Jump
Awesome, this is the hardest version of the Ski Jump in any Winter Games release.
Nice one, raising the bar another 3k.
Have you tried recording video for your submissions? You should give OBS Studio a try.
Yeah, the Apple II sounds were so bad... I have to turn the volume way down on my speakers when playing these.
Ditto, It gets frantic when he is very close to the lady and you just get the machine built... Most of the time it's frustrating as the projectile fires all oddly, or just drops right out of the gun. I'm glad you can confirm it's the same for you as I'd be mind-blown if I've been playing this one incorrectly for so long... Cheers man, I'll put this game on my list to play again.
Ha, yep, and once you get all the pieces a build that weird vehicle, the firing is so random. I haven't figured that out, if it's by design or if there is some special button press joystick move involved to make it fire to the top of the screen to take out the lady chaser guy
You'd probably drive that Lamborghini a bit better than me though. I had never played this version of TSB until last week. The juke movements in this version are a lot tighter and slower than the NES.
Barry Sanders, 516 yards on the ground.
Damn, got me by 200 pts, congrats! I love this game and must have the title back
Jim Kelly or "Q Bills" 647 Yards Passing.
James Lofton with 647 Yards Receiving.
Thanks and Yes to your latest scores as well. Great Atari 2600 Pitfall scores !
If it wasn't necessary, we wouldn't be discussing it. You're an admin here.. I would think you would be concerned with cleaning this site up as we are. Hell, you probably voted YES on some of his scores that passed and ended up a cheat score. I wouldn't be surprised if Ichigo turns out to be one of the trolls as his behaviour and attitude is just out there, all over the place. I understand he's your friend and we've all seen you protect him in the forums, but in order for this site to work, we need honest gamers and honest game play. Having a cheater in the top 10 rankings here is such a shit stain on this site.
Yep, this is the wrong version. This isn't the Synapse version. I'm not entirely sure the major difference with the 2 versions but the Synapse release seems a bit harder.
Don't hold your breath... but yeah, it would be great if Serious stepped in a bit on this one at least and cleaned up the site, ban the cheater, clear all high scores, etc. I'm still and will always be confused as to why someone would cheat in the first place... it shows a real lack of respect to all of us, thinking we'd be stupid enough to never discover the cheated scores. I'm also surprised these scores were voted through in the first place... Before my time on the site.
If you ever want any respect or trust back on this site, why don't you put together a list of all of the games you've cheated on and post that list in the discussions. Also email Serious with that. Then maybe, Serious can clean things up and get some of these scores back to being legit. There's no doubt you have other dishonest scores on this site that we have yet to discover. I'm still confused as to why nothing was done about this the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th time you were busted for posting cheated scores.
Thanks, I was just just one second off from the the max score... argghh!
That's a shame.. Serious must not have code to recalculate scores and rankings in this cheat and repost a lower score when you get called out. Even if some of these cheats and hacks take #1 in game score, there's no way to patch things up.
@DuggerVideoGames Yep, he seems to think he can cheat for years here and everything is just swept under the rug like nothing happened. I think we've now found scores dating back to 2014 that he's cheated on one way or another. Maybe Serious can fix this one and the others manually...
474 total yards: 1 Yard rushing, 473 Receiving.
Allowed 2 yards rushing and 42 receiving yards to the Falcons. 44 total yards allowed.
Not sure if I have the motivation to play this one again. Good score Ed!
Cool, I can see if one of the admins can rename it to include [score *10] as well.
K-Gun with 509 yards in the air.
It looks like a real commercial port of Popeye was never made.. instead, they got this version which appears to be a boot leg version which doesn't resemble the original. I had to play it to see what all the levels looked like. The look like crap
I don't have a problem either, I honestly didn't even think of changing things up to get better blockers.
Last time I looked, you can have Twitch automatically export your twitch vids to YouTube. You just need to sync up your YouTube account and flip a few settings to do so. Hope that helps dude.
It was really fun to revisit. Hard to believe it's been 25 years since it's release.
Ha, ear piercing is putting it mildly.. Overall, this is one brutal game.
Speed Skating is just left -> right -> left -> right and repeat. The Bobsled event was my favorite, Luge being much more difficult.
Nice one! I was so bad at this, toughest event on that cart.
Atari 8-Bit version. There's another as well, maybe Apple II.
Yep, I've seen those as well. The legit rating on this site means nothing as I've had 100% of my 1000+ scores pass on this site, never had one not pass. It should be 100%
Thanks PJ! How in the hell are your scores all 100% still? The majority of us are getting 1-2 no votes on every score.
Ha, this isn't Blade Runner... Two different games, Tiger Mission and Amidar? Wtf, how did this get a 100% vote?
Yes here as always. Impressive score!
Yep, I owned the full upright cabinet of this game back in the 90s. It's still super tough then and super tough now
Thanks, yeah, it's a great arcade port. The controls take a bit of getting used to though. Give it a try!
Interesting... I didn't want to alter anything on this game play and the others and played things vanilla. I doubt I'll play this one again, it was fun, but I prefer the NES and SNES versions.
Ha! Try rushing Marino for all those yards in this version of TSB
Same here. Tecmo stands the test of time.. it's still just as fun to play as it was 30 years ago.
Emmitt Smith, 237 yards on the ground.
Fun version of TSB. Tonight was the first time I ever played this version. We were Madden nuts back when the Genesis was out and stuck to that mostly. Rushing in this version is a grind but passing feels the same as the other console versions. Cheers dude!
Michael Irvin, 457 yards receiving.
Troy Aikman with 473 yards passing.
It's fine, again, this is how all Epyx Game scores are setup on the site. Maybe Serious can change the game name to score*10.. but he seems AWOL once again... I'll stick with this score as this is the correct way we've scored all of these games with a decimal in the score.
It's fine, I beat his score anyways. This is the way all Epyx Games scores with decimals are handled. He can play the game again.. he will probably end up beating my score.
Fun game, but the controls are a little tight... Happy New Year dude!
Google. It shouldn't be a hard one to find.
Incorrect rom. You played the [punisherbz] Chinese bootleg rom, not the world [punisher] rom.
See @ https://youtu.be/i5Sfx9YcJXk?t=27s
Make a request for that rom if you want. It may take years to get it added though.. MAME additions are slooow...
Skipping for now.
2.4 = 24. Decimals not supported on this site.
167.9 = 1679. Scored like other Epyx game scores on this site when scores contain a decimal.
Nope, no bug. Try playing it!
Hey Kernzy, why did you post this score? LEET? Can you repost a real score please. Thanks.
Merry Christmas y Feliz Navidad!
Nice one! Pretty sure you would have cleared 16 on that successful 15 jump.
Ditto.. I felt the same way when I was a kid playing this. Frustrating game.
Yep, same goes for up in Rochester where I was born and raised. It's a good mix of Giants and Bills fans with a handful of Jets fans. I still follow the Bills but the 90s kind of sucked the life out of me with that team. They looked good earlier this season but have since looked like the Bills of old... Whose your team?
Ha, yep. I lived in Bills country during those superbowl losses... sad times, but looking back, hell of a team, so many hall of famers, just no rings
Yesterday was the first time I've ever heard of it. Actually not a bad game, I was expecting way less.
Whaaaa? hmmmm.. How dare you beat a "Bass" score, bwahahahahahaha!
How dare you beat a "Bass" score, bwahahahahahaha!
Awesome, I'll give it a try next time I'm in there. Thanks!
Yep, I've been playing most of the consoles in MAME for a while now and use RetroArch for a few others. Playing the Amstrad on this was 200 times better than the stand alone CPCE emulator I was using. The only issue I have is quitting out of games. ESC normally closes the game out just fine for all consoles except this one for some reason. Do you have the same issue?
Naw, all of these scores are beatable. I'll try again in a few weeks and post my highest.
True, I was just suggesting we have 2 different games, current would be a free for all, upgrades allowed. The other would be Classic play only. The first few scores I posted included upgrades, but have since played with defaults. Either way, this will just be another option to play these tables two different ways. Great scores btw.
Great score. How do you feel about requesting (Classic Single Player) versions of these games? The upgrades are cool, but the default play without upgrades are more challenging score wise. I will request a few of the star wars tables.
Ha, I never thought to look to see if MAME had Amstrad CPC support. I'll give it a try. Your video looks much better than my game play emulated on CPCE. Thanks!
Yep, this was my first time playing these SW games since we last went back and forth in April earlier this year.
Nevermind, looks like Larcen was able to fix this. Thanks LT!
What emulator do you use?
This is actually "Bob Sled" not luge. I asked Serious a while back if he could change it, but never heard back. I'll put in a request to add Bob Sled to this so you can resubmit your score there.
Try it, maybe you will like the game. I didn't really care for it myself.
Go for it, horrible arcade port of this game... I doubt I'll play this one again as it was so bad.
Nice one! See ya in a few weeks when my current score passes.
Is that toaster NES considered REAL hardware or emulated? First time I've seen one of these on this site. Skip for now.
Killer score dude!
Video not working...
Is this emulated or actual hardware? looks emulated. Skip for now.
Thanks, yep, I just kept going and got very lucky with that 3rd ball. Of all of the Star Wars tables, this one is my favorite so far.
Wow, I'm losing it.. ha! Fixed...
I take that back, the difference would be in the AES version, the user selected the level of play. At https://youtu.be/helfV4CIHv4?t=15s I selected "Normal" play, the default. With this one, we could actually add Easy and Hard level games on HS. There's also a Parental Advisory at the beginning of the AES version.
Nope, but I figured I'd play the AES version for this category. Game is identical.
Doh!! Thanks for catching this Frankie, reposted.
Check out this video.. There's a controls how-to tutorial at the beginning of the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rECkz5ZhhvU
yeah, horrible port of this one. They got the opening titles screens down, look great, but the game itself is total crap.
I accidentally entered the incorrect last character of my initials.. oops! Fun port of this game, but the Amiga is better.
Still a few grand short of the actual C64 Hardware scores. I'd a need a near perfect run to reach those scores fore sure.
That's my best at 23k. Very fun game, very unique.
Tough game huh?
Nice! My next post was a 2,226,850 which I was going to post after my current score gets voted through. Looks like I'll need to try again...
Thanks, Offroad was quite a grind, but enjoyable. I can only hope the Amiga and ST versions are half as good
WinVice is the best C64 emulator I've found and probably the most popular by far. According to the game title screen, this one was only released only in Japan and Australia. Maybe that's why we never saw it in the states?
At some point I'm going to have to play this on my C64 as it's such a great game.
Yep, they did a real good job with this one.
Very much so. And I still have the Amiga and ST versions to try out
Yep, actually did crack it, but was really just having fun trying this one out on the C64 for the first time last night. I think by the time this came out I had sold my C64, so I missed it. Great game!
How did this get voted through?
This is the AES console version of Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad and not the MAME MVS version as played on all of the other score submissions for this game. The game is identical to the arcade version. Cheers!
Nice catch.. Totally missed that, thanks!
No idea, good question for the discussions.
I'll look tomorrow or sometime this week. I almost made it past the 3rd level in ST2 earlier today. That end boss is a grind and bullet hell. The only way I can see getting past him is to go in with max lives, never dieing early on which is very tough. Good luck dude.
I googled it, and didn't find anything other than the name of the game translated in Japanese.
You beat this score? That's good news, I want to play this one again
http://www.atarihq.com/5200/5200faq/02_06.html .... Nope, thanks to the crash, this game was never completed. It would be cool if someone did this one as a home brew.
This is the first game of about a thousand I've posted here that places the score in the bottom right corner. I disabled my avatar in order for the score to be visible. Cheers!
Nice score, are it's higher than last time
Ha, sorry, couldn't resist, this is a fun one. I love that you only get one life... it's nerve racking when you get down to low health.
Um, why not just delete this submission and play it @ 60hz NTSC, set the score and re-submit. This seems a bit sketchy... I'm sure you will still beat my score.
Awesome score! I'm going to have to try this one again soon, so good.
Don't worry, we didn't smell it
I'm not sure if you are into brawlers, but you should play this one. With you Sailor Moon shirt on, you can't lose!
I know right, ha! It's actually a pretty good game and plays similar to Sinistar. Defeating Sinistar or "DeathStar" is much harder though.
Thanks! Took a few tries, but I finally had a good round. I'd love to find this one in an arcade somewhere.
Try it, it's a good one. I can't for the hell of me defeat the 2nd stage boss. I think the only way it can be done is to win the crawl race after the 1st level to get 3 extra bombs.
Good to know, thanks!
Does the last digit mean he continued 3 times and do all NEO GEO games incorporate this in the scoring? Nice catch.
Interesting, I'll try it for fun, but won't submit a score with that as part. Sketch.
Nope, never finished Middle or Hard. I normally always play Easy Street.
Off-Road Cheat? Not familar..
Yep, I'm sure this is just a hack of Gee Bee. It's just as good.
Yep, but we already have a Hard Way on the site. I don't know why this wasn't labeled Easy Street and a Middle Road added as well.
Actually, your score was #1. I just happened to have a really good round. Your score inspired me to play it again. There's many things that need to go right in that game to get points, but you nailed a few. Good luck man.
Cool. If you do, let's see some video evidence. This one has so many dip switch settings.
Hey Ed, keep those game requests coming. I don't know how I missed some of these great games when I last added games for the Atari ST. Cheers!
Wait, where's the video?
Nice one! I'll have to try again soon.
Yep, I'm kind of on a Puzzle Bobble/Tetris/Columns type game kick right now
Yep, fun one and damn tough.
Fun game, I had to try it as I had never seen or played it before. This score is low... It's possible to score 50-60 pts if you land, refuel, re-ammo and go on. I did none of these
The current top scorer for this game posted the wrong game type score. This is straight out points and not levels cleared.
Yeah it is. I threw int the towel after playing this numerous times. Great score!
Oh yeah, I love those animated games. I followed the Daphne emulator for years and have played must if not all of those. Have you seen a working original machine for that one? I think I remember Putt Putt had one briefly back in the day. I just put 2 and 2 together and now realize where your avatar came from. It looks like the same animators that did Transformers and GI Joe.
Strange.. this was the version of Wavy Navy I had as a kid and played for hours.
Video link doesn't work.. skip for now.
Emulated or original hardware?
Looks like that link worked out for ya? I'll have to try this one next time I fire up my C64 or play emulated. It looks just as fun as the arcade.
I botched entering my initials as the controls are a bit wonky, but I was close. Cheers!
No love needed, just hope it works for you. I just tried this game for the first time. Very fun... I kind of remember playing it in the arcade as a kid but only once or twice.
This wasn't played on the game defaults of normal. arrggh...
Yeah, both are fun little platformers. I've played Wardner before and I'll prob. play it again. Cheers dude.
I'm not sure what you are asking. Great game, one of the best breakout arcade games I've played.
Damn, you grinded this one out! Yes vote here!
I just googled and it appears this game was never released, never passed testing. There are some prototype arcade machines out there, I think 20 or less.
Yep, pretty nice looking and playing game for 1983. I don't remember this one at the arcades though.
The score flipped @ 29m36s https://youtu.be/xOpUgcf0dvM?t=29m36s when I hit 1 million ... I could have played longer as the game becomes repetitive and doesn't seem to increase in difficulty. Cheers!
I wasn't able to complete entering my initials as the controls to set these are a bit wonky. Cheers!
Such a tough game... Yes vote here!
Sooo close to beating the high score!
Yep... I've beaten this in the arcade a # of times, but always on 3 or 4 quarters.
I'm just now getting around to catching up on voting. Is this emulated? You have video for console play, but no video for emulated... I'm assuming you are just piping you console game play video to your PC? just curious, cheers!
No highscore table or Initial input. Cheers!
Xbox 360 Joystick. It's super sensitive as you can see me trying very hard to just move the ball placement back and forth.. fun game.
Wow, great scores Pearl. Have you tried the Adventure mode game play?
Wow, 20 minutes of game play! Awesome score dude.
Lame, yep, he changed his settings to 3 lives.. very lame.
Game score only appears when you complete a level. This is my level 1 score of 46. Cheers!
Wow, I really thought your comments were sarcastic until now.... We have been going to head-to-head on a few games now for months. It's about gaming, not competition for me my friend. I'm sure Baldbull will take you up on the invite if you were to ask him. Cheers dude!
Kleenex called, they want to sponsor you Consider it charity dude. It feels good to give back to those less fortunate.. bwahahaha!
That's cool that you used to play this one and some others I posted. I was too busy playing console and computer games during this time period that I missed out on most of these at the arcade. Most of the arcades around were closed down due to gang violence. Sucked...
You know him. The guy who destroys most if not all of our MAME scores in less than 24 hours after posting.
I give Baldbull 24 hours or less to come back with a better score :P
Thanks, I really wanted to reach 80k but that Lava section on the 2nd level is the worst. I couldn't make it through there without losing 2 or 3 ships. Fun little game.
Thanks! Yeah, odd game indeed.
When you hit the fire button, the ball explodes and uses up one of your lives. If the shrapnel of the explosion hits an enemy, they die and you get points.
You have 2 no votes on everything? If so, that's not a surprise on this site.
Yep, it's a port of the Colecovision version. You can find this one and 5 or 6 other ports @ http://msx.ebsoft.fr/muffie_cartridge.php
No apologies required, you need those trophies more than I do!
Awesome score AMF! I'll have to try this one again in the near future. It's a shame that Manbow 2 on the MSX doesn't keep score :(
Great score man! Baldbull, you want to finish this one off?
Yep, let's see what kind of score Baldbull posts.. you know he will :P
Get in the Chopper!!!
I knew BaldBull will chime in. Great score dude. One of these days I'll have to spend more time playing this one. Cheers!
Just returning the favor...
Nice! I'll revisit this one at some point. Cheers dude! How are those new joysticks holding up?
Recon mode is like the original Xevious. Scramble has power ups and allows you to select your Armada of ships pre-game.
did you play this on Low or High?
Good work, you are winner! Now go beat one of Bald Bull's scores ha!
9.1 = 91 as this site can't do scores with decimals. Cheers!
Nice one! Yes Vote HERE!
yeah, i posted this one around 11:30pm my time, MTN. The NO vote came quick, almost in the first minute after posting it.
Did you mail in a money order for the poster and sountrack CD?
That's one hell of a rig for such a small screen. I've never seen one of these before... cool stuff.
Nice score dude! It's a shame you didn't record the entire video though. How far did you get? Yes vote here.
Nice score, how far did you get? It's hard to tell from the screen shots.
Try the Arcade version. Very, very tough.
Yep, that one is on my list to play soon. If this system was released in the US, I bet for sure it would be just as popular and iconic as the Colecovision and C64 are. Great ports for that time.
No highscore table. Screenshot is of my final death. Cheers!
No highscore table.. this one shows a black game over screen after the game ends then restarts at the demo screen. Cheers!
Yep, bummer, crushed by a boulder...
Awesome port! Cheers!
One of the best home brews on this system and one of the toughest games. I will beat this one in the future.. Cheers!
Nice work! and you beat the tiger!
Ha! Yep, it's kind of the Paridous Da! on vertical shooters.Cheers!
The highest percentage I was able to get on stage 1 is 98%... I always miss one or two enemies early on. I agree, just all around great game play, graphics, sound, music.
It's hard to tell from your photo, but what hardware is that?
Yep, one hell of a game. It feels more like a Star Solider game than Raiden to me though.
It's flawed just like most baseball games from this early time of games. Just about any hard hit ball hit to right field can be thrown to 1st for an out. The runners are slow and can't beat it out. Overall though, this game holds up.
Yep, seems like there should be more to this game other than just hammering mice. Good game for 1980 though.
Thanks, yep, but I wish I had a real cabinet to play these classics on. My Xbox 360 pad just doesn't do the game or my score justice.
Thanks, but don't go out of your way. I'll search for it this weekend. I think the 16K rom is the 1984 prototype rom.
Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not a software collector, I'll try it when I find the rom file. Nice setup BTW. Does that 1050 drive still work?
I just looked and the top 2 highscorers of this game played the prototype version, not the official cartridge release. It's a much easier version and not polished at all. The final version shows points when you kill the spiders and other creature kills. Is there anyway we can rename this "Millipede [Prototype]"? If we can't, no worries, I'll just play the official release version and see what kind of score I can put up.
8 run difference. Grand slam in the 3rd, with 3 more runs driving in. Back to back homers in the 7th and a 3 more in the 9th. Final score 13-5. I played this a ton as a kid. At one time, this was by far the best baseball game around. Cheers!
Keep those Atari ST request coming GTI! I'll try to push those through ASAP for you. There's quite a few of those that I will try emulated when I find more time.
I decided to replay this one and scored 1.3 million.. video has default soft dips as well. Thanks for pointing the F2 thing out.
Good score Gazz!
It does, I just looked. I looked at the other scores posted for this one and no one shows their dips. The defaults in the latest version of MAME are Level 4 Difficulty, 3 ships, extend @ level 10 & 25, 3 bomb stocks.
Yep, score should be 15,595. Skip for now, will wait for repost.
No Dip Switch settings for this game as shown in video. Cheers!
Thanks JM, great scores on your recent batch of ZX Spectrum games. Cheers!
Actually, I kind of liked the voice. It reminded me a bit of Alpiner on the TI-99 just clearer.
Most of us are in the same boat. We just want to play these games to our fullest, post scores and have fun. Glad you see what the rest of us saw in that user with 90k+ pts and zero score posts. Nothing can be done, we've tried
Sean, It's not just you getting these NO votes. Every score posted to the site in the last 3-5 weeks have been NO voted on, sometimes once, sometimes 3 to 4 times. There's no fix for this other than to wait things out. See: http://highscore.com/discussions/topic/what-does-the-troll-want-from-us/990
The link didn't seem to work. I could only find the prototype version of this one but will keep looking.
Is this the 1984 prototype or a home brew finished version of the game?
This one took quite a few tries, but I was finally able to beat it. Great game, good music, graphics and game play.
This is one of the rare games on this system that doesn't do more than 9999 in pts and rolls-over @ every 10k.
1st rollover: https://youtu.be/29ylNbHhQxY?t=13m30s (10k)2nd rollover: https://youtu.be/29ylNbHhQxY?t=25m40s (20k)3rd rollover: https://youtu.be/29ylNbHhQxY?t=36m28s (30k)4th rollover: https://youtu.be/29ylNbHhQxY?t=47m16s (40k)
Oh man, this is what happens when you post a score of 5 just to get a trophy. Why not be a true gentleman and play the game to your ability and then post a score? I'd coin this as "Score Trolling" to be honest. There's no rule against it, but it seems like you are just playing this site and not actually playing the game. This site is called "Highscore", not "Low Balled Scores"... I voted YES if it makes you feel better.
Expert level feels more like how the arcade version plays. Major difference in difficulty when comparing Normal to Expert game levels. Cheers!
Ha, yeah, Coco's charge attack is crazy hard to defend. Last time I played this one, he owned me. I couldn't even get one move in because he'd charge the second I'd get up. Good score!
Thanks dude. I had to give this one a try as I just played it's Sharp X68000 port "Sol-Feace". They were smart to change the name of this game for this US/Europe release... It's almost identical to the X68000 version, good port.
Oh man, you were using the mouse button all this time? I do the same, keyboard and mouse. My index finger was fatigued the first few times I tried playing all mouse. Cheers again dude, great score.
Looks like you added 2 games to this one.. Hong Kong Phooey, #1 super guy.
Woah, damn, I thought I had this one. It wa fun while it lasted. Cheers, Yes here!
Wow, great score Gazz! Yes vote of course including a bow to the master Imagine how much further we could get in this one if there wasn't that reload pause. It bugs the hell out of me when playing this one. Cheers dude!
Great game, one of my faves! Yes vote here.
One of the best games on this system. Played on normal difficulty, which is the default setting. Cheers!
Easy.. ha, this game is one of of the toughest shmups there is. I can't imagine what this game plays like on Hard difficulty... Cheers!
This is the europe PAL release of Contra. They made the main character a robot and renamed the game on the NES from what I remember reading. Violence was the issue, they thought killing a robot was less violent I guess. Yes vote here!
I think a lot of us are in that same mind set at this point.... Thanks for the Yes's!
Voted yes as well. Wow, I haven't seen this game in a long, long time. All I remember is the farting sound when your ship gets hit
Nope, and I've looked. Everyone is either getting one or 2 NO votes on every score. This has been going on now for many weeks...
Yes here. These trolls don't give a shit about evidence. It's just someone voting NO across the board on every score. I just posted a score and in less than a minute I had a NO vote.
Oh, Yes here of course.
And many more scores to come. I'm ripping through this library and adding many new games. Great little system, it's a shame it was never introduced outside of Japan. Cheers.
I'm not all that worried about the legit rating thing. That will even itself out over time anyways. It's more of the fact that someone is voting NO across the board. It's just bad for the site and should be looked into. It really can't be that hard for Serious to query the site's database to see who this is, and then doing something about it. That's just my two cents on this for now. If you can, just drop him a quick note. The more of us who do, the better chance something is done about it.
I wasn't aware until now that you could play SG-1000 games on a MasterSystem. Very cool. Yes here as always.
I don't think this NO voter is being picky on evidence... Were you able to contact Serious? Many of us are holding off submitting scores until this get's remedied.
Yep, this has been on-going now for a few weeks... Someone is voting NO to every score posted to the site. Many of us have contacted Serious to see what he can do about it but he's MIA...
You've been busy! Yes on all of these, good scores!
Congrats dude, that's going to be tough one to beat.
Yes here! How solid and weighted are those things? Sturdy?
Wow, something weird just happened. I must have posted my new score just when my previous was voted through. Repost: http://highscore.com/scores/SegaGenesisMegaDriveEmulated/MidwayArcadesGreatestHits/61085
Default game options displayed in first screen shot. Cheers!
I just replayed showing options. http://highscore.com/s/61083 This to your liking? :P I always play on defaults, didn't see this game even had options when I first played. Cheers!
Imagine playing a game 20-30 times, setting the highscore, then posting more than enough evidence, and getting multiple NO votes...
I'm pretty sure it's one of the more regular members on the site, but that's just from what I've seen from the timing of the votes. Myself and many others are now getting 2 NO votes on scores... Time for me to take a break from this site for a bit, this just being a good reason to for now.
Video doesn't help, this one is voting NO on every score. Yes vote here as always.
Yes vote here!
Nice score! Yes here
Will do. The rom said galaxian.x80... I just figured it was Galaxian.. my bad.
TKO'd Tyson with a star punch! Great score dude!
What is that first photo of? Skip for now...
First Yes! I never post this but with the # of NO votes lately, thought I'd chime in.
Very strange high score table as it added duplicate scores when I tried to correct my initials at the end of the game. Game Over @ https://youtu.be/WpgfQRJNeAQ?t=6m44s
Oh hell yes!
Totally my bad. No harm done though. I'm glad this didn't get voted through under the wrong category. Cheers!
There you go. I can see the the third image now.
Where is the score in your photo? Skip for now....
My bad, I just did some searching around and see that original 1983 version I played on the Atari 8-Bit as a kid was actually a 5200 port. arggh.. I thought they released two different versions, one in the early days on the 8-Bit and then this XE version when the XEGS came out. I'll kill my score here and repost under the other game. Thanks for pointing this out. I really always thought there were 2 released versions.. arrrgh.
Fun version of this game. I still like the C64 version best, but this one is damn fun. It took me many times to pass your score BTW. Cheers!
I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not Voted YES to your Galaga score dude, nice job! Trolls are out in droves lately.. so many NO votes on my most recent scores. I think I've become passive now.. trolls are just part of this site. Easier to ignore them and just have fun playing the games. Cheers dude!
Cool, just wanted to point that out. I figured it was a mistake when you started the game and prob. initated 2 player instead of 1. It's funny it passed in voting :P Play it again, great game! I'm going to tackle Gauntlet 2 on the C64 soon. Cheers!
Thanks dude! Yep, it's like Tempest but not identical. Kind of a mix between Tempest and Gridrunner.
Nope, this one is from 1986.
I played this one a bit in the 80s and was glad to rediscover it this evening. Final score @ https://youtu.be/dS8bU-i7qX4?t=6m35s

I just played this for the first time in 30 years tonight. Fun game. I noticed in your video you have 2 players going, both bound to the same joystick controls. Is that the normal score game play for this one? Seems sketchy.

This is another game that gives you milliseconds to take a snapshot of the Game Over screen. You can faintly see the Game Over text fading away. Cheers!
First game played off of my new Everdrive N8 cart. Cheers!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the extra zero in the score table. The Game Over screen shot score is the correct one. My guess would be the developers didn't finish the high score table code, as this game was submitted into a competition and may have been rushed. The game is excellent, glad they focused on that.
I use Altirra for the 8-Bit games. I'm going to try this one on my 800XL soon as well. And nope, I've never seen a list of acceptable emulators. Most of the regulars here I believe also use Altirra.
The initial entry in this game doesn't work, Hi-score is @ 4:20 ... New home brew, and one of the best yet. I would have loved to have this one when I was10 :) Cheers!
But much tougher.. This has to be one of the top 5 hardest games I've played since I joined this site.
Played at 1UP in Denver, Colorado. You could tell this machine had some mileage just looking at the worn down control panel. The game was still solid, played nice. Cheers!
Played at 1UP in Denver, Colorado.
Played at 1UP in Denver, Colorado. This was a spontaneous happy hour and I didn't have my Highscore ID on me. Cheers!
Damn, nice score Omar!
Yep, home brew from 2011 or 2012. I was never very good at this game on the 2600, even with paddles.
The opening title is hilarious. I hadn't laughed that hard at video game in a long, long time. https://youtu.be/rUyZMEUG9_Y?t=8m26s
No Hi-score table in this one. Great game for 1991.
Horrible controls in this game...
Good catch... first time I've done this. I'll repost.
Good, I wanted to play this one again anyways
#1 Super Guy! Yes vote as always.
I have the Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth 2014... One of these days I might have to try using the KB to play these shmups. You seem to have it mastered at this point.
Ha, and I thought I did well with my score :( What brand and model keyboard do you use?
Metal Slug 2? He's legit, it's a timed game. That kind of game play isn't my thing, but he's cool, and pretty damn good at that game. I questioned a similiar video a month or 2 ago, Double Dragon... and was explained that it's a timed game so glitching and farming is fine. Again, I won't play those types of games. To each his own though I guess.
I should have looked.. the 3 C64 admins "Deteacher, Maxwel, Sixx"... Maxwel seems to be the only somewhat active user on the site.. I'll ping him. Thanks.
Actually, this is something you can fix since you are a C64 category admin. We are able to rename game titles as long as there are no scores. I was able to edit quite a few Apple game titles that had misspellings or were incorrect. In the admin, edit a game and then edit the url changing the id to "60128".... reload and you will be able to edit those games. If you can do this, I'll repost my score again. thanks again!
I take that back, not a bad game, just not my type of game. I decided to just delete it for now, no worries. Thanks for pushing through my recent game requests! I think that is you pushing through Rowman and a few others. Cheers Frankie!
Naw, I'll just delete the score from the site. No worries.
9% = 9 points.
Yeah, I can see someone just racking up kills for score. I can repost as 4. It's a really bad game anyways :P
Cool, take a look at how other's post hardware console play on this site. Most post a picture of the console, cartridge (sometimes), a screen shot or photo 2 of the highscore, sometimes video. You'll get more Yes votes and trust here if you do as many of those as you can. Cheers dude, nice scores!
Is this a VHS recording? Got a picture of the console?
They are all decent ports, but the PS1 version was my least favorite. The Gamecube version was the best. The SNES and Genesis versions were pretty good for those platforms at that time.
Yep, the 2nd boss tank thing was insane. I was surprised I was able to get past the two creepy bosses before that. Quite a bit of nading and cartwheeling to make that happen.
Crushed by the ceiling as the water level increased, I believe. I was going to play the game a few more times to see if I could increase my score a bit, but that last death did me in. Very strange home brew game... Awesome title screen and music though.
I wasn't expecting such a fun port of this game on the 2600. It's a shame it was never released.. just like the Atari 8-bit version, only prototypes of the game exist.
The enter initials prompt pops up the second the game ends, hence the ASB and not ISB as I was still hitting the fire button at the end of the game. Good Cabal'ish type game! Cheers!
That second wave is so tough... I feel like it's just pure luck not getting hit by the fire of the turret ships, as there are 3 or 4 them attacking at once. Such a great game though.
Just as fun as it was on my Mac Plus back in the late 80's. Great sounds, really touchy mouse controls. Cheers!
This is a really good home brew arcade port including digitised speech which was very rare in Atari 8-bit games. Cheers!
Cool, thanks. Nope, but I have used WolfMame in the past. I'm using MameUI. If and when I decided to post score up on TwinGalaxies, I'll go Wolfmame. For now, UI is the Mame emulator I've used for a decade or more.
I'm on v.185 now.. do you know, when it comes to emulation, if there are major changes that would effect play and scores? I'm sure they've cleaned up many emulation bugs over the versions. I know a few of the MAME scorers here are on older rom sets and MAME versions just from seeing their dip switch defaults. Thanks for the link!
Wow, I totally forgot about this game. I'll have to give it another try soon. Yes vote here! Great score.
In time... I have played it before, but enjoying the 8-Bit computer games at the moment.
I think you might be right. I don't remember Snooper and Blabber though.
This version of Popeye still holds up well. I played many, many hours of this game as a kid and owned a Popeye Arcade cabinet for 5 or 6 years in the 90s. Cheers!
I was unable to figure out the highscore initial input at the end of the game so I went with AAA. I tried every common joystick movement, typing my initials via the keyboard, but I couldn't figure it out. Tough game, toughest highscore initial input setup. Cheers!
Yes vote as usual! What emulator do you use for the VIC-20? I have a very complete romset but haven't tried emulating yet. Thanks!
Yep, very odd recording... Try using OBS Studio, it's free and does a pretty good job of recording. This video seems sped up, or slowed down, I can't really tell... Skip for now.
Try OBS Studio for recording. If you play with it a bit, you should be able to get decent video recordings and not 3 FPS as this current app is doing.
Screenshot is of my last death to end the game, no highscore table in this one. This may be the hardest platformer on the Atari 8-Bit. Good music, very tough game. Cheers!
Really fun port of this game, but the jump controls are slow and awkward compared to most of the other computer versions.
Nice score Bull! Yes vote from me!
Addictive game... I played this "Hustler" difficulty 7 or 8 times and this was the closest I could get to beating the computer. He's ruthless at this level. Cheers!
1,000 games come loaded, but it also allows for a MicroSD card that you can load with roms. Fun little toy so far, and probably my last for a while.
Damn, Detlef with the triple double!
For the 5200 Rom: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/221715-drelbs/
For the Atari 8-Bit Rom: http://atarionline.pl/v01/index.php?ct=katalog&sub=D
Hope this helps. I need to play the 5200 port again... I've gotten better at this game since I posted this. Good luck dude!
I was all ready to post this one as "80 pts" when I realized MattFelix, who scored a perfect 9, entered 9 and 90. This game does decimals in final scores. Oh well.. Since I had these photos ready to go, I thought I'd post it anyways. Cheers!
I hit 53k yesterday but fumbled with my phone and wasn't able to take a photo. This game gives you about 5 seconds when the game ends before it automatically starts a fresh game... Cheers!
Did you play this in your van, down by the river? Love the avatar!
Or better yet, 2 button controllers
Classic99. Solid emulator for the PC but I think there's emulator's or ports of this one for other systems.
Omar, check out this link http://lotharek.pl/category.php?kid=10 It sort of shows the evolution of the Atari 8-Bit family. The XE Game System was the final Atari 8-bit machine released I believe. There are still Atari 400's out there. I have one in storage back east. The issue with that machine as it initially had only 16k ram, they released a 48k 400 at the end of it's run. They keyboard on the 400 was flat and really sucked if you had to type a bunch. The Atari 7800 was a big console, hope you have room for it
Yep, I couldn't resist and bought a refurbished Atari 800XL. The seller threw in Jungle Hunt and Space Invader cartridges, and I bought an SIO2SD ... I had this same 800XL back in the day.
Will do, still many, many games to play. I'm loving the games on this TI-99 computer.
Oh yeah, I had Dodge Em on the 2600 back in the early 80s. Frustrating game!
It's a really tough game... I was unsuccessful in refueling 100% of the time..
If you use a PC, look for "Classic99". This is the best emulator for the TI-99 I could find. For roms, they were hard to find.. I'll save you the search: http://tigameshelf.net/asm.htm
Yep, and a few others like Pole Position, Congo Bongo, ET, Galaxian, Star Wars, Zaxxon etc... All of the games I've played so far have been enjoyable, comparable to the Colecovision and better than the 2600 versions.
That sucks, are there any other emulators available? Roms can found here: http://tigameshelf.net/asm.htm
Awesome, try this game out and get past the natives. I want to see what happens. I tried so many times that I finally settled on this score with plans to try again in the future.
"Classic99" is the emulator. Yeah, I didn't know anyone who had this console back in the day... it's my first time ever checking these games out. All of the games I've posted scores for are quality (for that time...) games. I believe there's an Android emulator for this system.
So far, this is my favorite game on the the TI-99/4A. Home Brew, 2014.
Thanks! I did some research and noticed MAME will do the job. If that doesn't work, I'll try the one you suggested. Cheers!
No in-game music so I found the intro sid file and played that in the background. The 1st screen shot is millseconds before my final death. Cheers!
Hi Hudson. Curious, what emulator do you use? This is one of the last mainstream consoles I have yet to play on. Cheers dude!
Hey Frankie. Are you asking me how I find so much time to game? If so, I've just had a ton of free-time since late last year. I'm also pretty proficient at playing and recording at this point. I find it much more time consuming to play on the original hardware. Speaking of which, I have an Atari 800XL on the way with a SD card drive emulator. Turns out it wasn't very expensive, refurbished and cleaned up. Cheers!
No audio, something went screwy when I was recording this. This game is as tough as I remember it being back in the day. Cheers!
Ha, yeah, it stays true to it's name.
This is a great arcade port but the lack of buttons (have to use the spacebar for special weapon and right arrow to jump up to the top levels) makes this super tough. Cheers!
Hey Amo, make sure to include the MAME dip switch settings some where in your MAME videos. It will help avoid NO votes and it keeps things fair. Great scores BTW! Cheers!
Yep, not the most exciting event in this game. I just wanted to post scores for all of the events.. saved the figure skating for last.
3.3 = 33 score. Can't do decimals on the site. The highest possible score is 6.0 or 60 in this event.
3.9 = 39 score. Can't do decimals on the site. The highest possible score is 6.0 or 60 in this event.
Will do. This was one of just a few games I had on cartridge for the Atari 800 back in the day.
Very cool. Your english is good. I'll read up more on Lakka and may install it on my older Sony VAIO laptop. Thanks!
I made it to Blues but my reproduction atari joystick broke.. I could no longer jump and got owned. Still had a decent score... Cheers and RIP sh1ttly made atari joystick
Hey Larq, what are the specs on this PC running Lakka? I'm curious, I have many older comps stored away, mostly 10+ years old that I can probably recycle as retro-gaming boxes. Cheers dude!
That looks like Warlords.. I've never heard of this game though.. added to my list to check out! Yes vote as always!
Very cool. I'll keep my eyes peeled for an original Atari joystick mainly to see how different the new and old sticks differ. I broke so many of those as a kid from just hours and hours of wear and tear that was reluctant to buy a used one... I have an Epyx Fastload cartidge on the way, and will probably just stick with my SD2IEC Drive Emulator for now. I did search around the net for game cartridges, but there weren't many I was interested in and the ones I did want were very pricey.
Thanks Omar. Yep, that's an Atari joystick, not original, but feels (from what I remember, it's been years) like the original stick. http://www.ebay.com/itm/131422237759 if you need one.
First high score on my newly purchased C64. Cheers!
Agreed. I had this back in the day and for some reason I played it it a bunch. I experienced the same frustration playing this now as I did back then. I'm not entirely sure if there is an end to this game or even to the first level.
Score posted in inches, 110" = 9' 2". This is scored in inches on the other platform versions of this game. Cheers!
Nice, I wasn't aware you get points for trick flying when flying under an AT-AT. I'll try again once our scores get voted through
Yep, Gazzhally always comes back with a better score... He's good. I haven't touched SFII yet but played that quite a bit on my SNES and at the arcade back in the 90s. One of these days I'll bust out and play some fighters.
Thanks Omar. How's the Atari XE? Did you grab any more cartridges? I just bought a Commodore 64 and hope to have it up and running in the next few weeks.
It's pretty bad... try playing it again Break Street was the better of the 2 breakin' games by far.
What are you playing these days? I haven't seen a score post from you in ages
Joust is there, but it doesn't show up on that high score screen.
7' 6" = 90"
Will there be an IGBY MAME tourny this year? First time I've heard of it, sounds fun.
Yep, I discovered that years ago.. plus shotgun is auto-fire, no button crunching
The back of the box just says "Refreshments"...
You inspired me to play this before I crashed for the night... It's a tough one. The top 3 or 4 scores for this one are completely insane!
First time playing in quite a long time. I played many hours of this back in the very early days of MAME on my Mac PPC.
Moon Patrol in a Jeep, but much harder.
Other than not being able to fire diagonally, this is a really good arcade port.
I'll have to try Milk Race on the Spectrum. Worth trying?
Yep, very solid game for the C64. Have you heard of "The 64"? https://the64.computer/ ? I ordered one over a year ago but it's still in production and probably won't be released until later this year.
It seems that way. Ten Speed for the Americans and Milk Race for the Europeans. I actually never played either one back in the day... They look the same and play the same, but the # of gear speeds differ and the tracks are a bit tougher in Milk Race.
Yep, a few I'd recommend to hunt down if you aren't going to do that Flash cartidge: River Raid, Miner 2049er, Choplifter, Seafox, Gyruss, Gorf, Pac-Man(s), Oil's Well, Zaxxon... I'm pretty sure these were all released on cartridge and shouldn't be hard to find on ebay. I found this list of games released on cartridge for the Atari 8-Bit: http://gamesmuseum.pixesthesia.com/history/gen4/xegs/a8list.txt
Before Skate or Die, this was the best skating game on the C64
Chec out: http://www.mocagh.org/miscgame/necromancer-manual.pdf I've actually never really sat down and played this one... 1st Yes Vote!
So much better than the UK version. This actually feels a lot more like the arcade version. Huge points at the end there as I dropped off 8 hostages.
I'm not sure what they were thinking with this version. Guns shoot from off-screen and the jeep has to creep slowly forward to see what's up ahead...
Congrats on the Black Belt. I'm not sure of the smart bomb, I actually forgot that existed in this game. I just looked and on the 2600, if you hold the button down and push up, it fires the laser bomb. I couldn't find the Atari 800 manual for this game.
Nice precision play dude. What controller do you use?
No highscore table or initials entry in this version. This is a pretty damn good port of the game. Tougher than I expected. Cheers!
Really good port, but no joystick support. It was all keyboard for this one. Cheers!
No highscore table or initials entry in this version. The Extra life animation is also nonexistent in this version. Cheers!
Once again this is another one I played a bit back in the day. The controls make this game very tough and with zero replay value. Cheers!
I think the the 7800 games are a bit better quality, but it's a much smaller catalog than the Atari 8-Bit. I'm a bit bias when it comes to the Atari 8-Bit as It was my first computer, and would take it over the 7800 any day. I've seen some of the never opened games on Ebay, insane prices!
Cool, I'll remember that, thanks!
Just hit TAB when the game loads up, and navigate to dip switch settings. It's not required, but most of us regulars here have gotten into the habit just to keep things legit. What version of Mame are you using? We've actually found some of the older rom default dip switch settings have change in the newer versions. Great scores BTW, good to see another Shmup fan on here. Cheers dude!
Yep, one of the best on this platform and there's tons of them.
Yes vote from me. Where in the video are you showing your MAME dip switch settings?
Tougher than it looks. My previous high score that I almost settled with was 10 pts less than the current high score here... Finally, after many tries, I hit this. This is now my favorite Mastertronic game... Sorry Ninja Cheers!
Very nice. Grab Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man when you can. Both really good on this system.
Ok cool, what 9 games are you getting?
Very strange game... You have to love the Superman theme song at the title screen instead of the A-Team theme. This is was milliseconds of fun.. Cheers!
Oh cool, nice deal. I am also going to buy one of these https://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/documentation/ . I have an 800, 800xl, 1200xl and I believe a 400 back east in storage at my folks place. I might also have a Sinclair and at least 5 older Macintosh computers (PPC, 68000)... I need to research the connectors as I'm not entirely sure how I would hook these up to my HD to get the best picture. Did you Co-Ax the XE, or do you have some kind of converter box?
Very cool. Was that brand new? Mind asking how much it cost?
Very nice, did you just recently get that XE?
Oh, "The 64" is a Commodore 64 computer soon to be released (see: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-64-computer-and-handheld-console#/), not the N64. I'm not really into collecting old gaming hardware as I don't really have the space @ my current place. Next house I buy, I'm going to make sure I have a nice room or basement devoted to that.
BTW, nice Dudley Dawson avatar Cheers!
I could have had another 3k in score if I was able to get all boats through the secret passage. Great game, even after 30+ years, it's still feels fresh.
The controls and timing in this event are what makes it so tough. It took many, many tries to get this perfect 10.
MAME v.183 and sometimes AppleWin with games that require to flip to the other side of the disk.
Btw, the score "54" is posted as this site doesn't allow decimals. This is how all of these Epyx game scores are set in the site. A perfect 10 would be "100" and is the max score. So, 5.4 = 54. It's the only way to deal with the decimals. thanks.
You play 4 levels and try to beat the dictator's score to win. It makes a better 2 player game, but the 1 player is still fun.
Great version of this event, but I still think the C64 version tops them all. Cheers!
Yep, plays the same.
Top 5 in my list of favorite games on the C64. I remember myself and my friends playing this for hours just to hear the digitized voices when you die. Cheers!
Yes from me! Again, I'll revisit this one once my current vote goes through. Nice to see the end of the Chewbacca AT-ST level.
Yep, I have the 7800. I'll have to check out that version of Galaga sometime. Good luck in your search for the 7800 console!
As you can see from the high score table, I've practiced this one quite a few times
I figured he'd come back with a better score, he always does Obvious yes vote from me. I'll revisit this in a month or so after my current score get's voted through. Cheers Gazz!
Same as I remember this game.. I often stall because of the strange up/down controls to accelerate. Still pretty fun once you get going. Cheers!
I took one hell of a header on my final life at the end
Yep, very close at the end there... Thanks!
Very nice score dude! Yes from me of course.
Nice, I was tempted to try the "Hard" level, but had too much fun playing medium. Looks like it's a race to 1,000,000 from here on in. It's a shame there's no MAME game admin on the site as we could split these out by "Easy", "Medium" and "Hard". Cheers dude, let's see who can finish this one out
I had to switch WinVice to "True Drive Emulation" for this game to load., hence the long load times between menu and game loads. Cheers!
Yep, made by Taito who also did Operation Wolf. The game feels like a hybrid of Operation Wolf and Aliens 3.
I mailed it in after an hour of game play as I believe I could have played for much, much longer. Fun game, but way too easy on this level. Cheers to whomever grinds this one out for many hours of play.
I was thinking that same thing regarding the previous scores... I've played this game so many times and never discovered that. Oh well, I'm sure you're fine then. The local 7-11 in my neighborhood had this game back when it first came out. There was a line going out the door to play it...
Maybe a glitch exploit then? I'm not calling you out, just seems a bit sketchy... I'll wait to vote until others review.
@ https://youtu.be/More_48d84w?t=7m44s ... is that considered point farming? I didn't know this was possible in this game.
Thanks Nads. I need to replay the Skill 1 or Wave 1 start game again as I know I can do much better. This was one of those rounds where I was just focused and lucky a few times to get this score. Cheers!
I was able to make it to wave 11, but the catwalks on the trench run was a bit too much.
The controls in this game make shooting the towers almost impossible... I'm sure it was the same with those original 5200 joypads. Cheers!
Another one I played quite a bit as a kid.. I'm sure I made it to the 3rd gate back then, but couldn't make it now.
It's a fun one.. I'm not entirely sure how to get past that second boss though without having 100% health. Good luck Keilbaca!
For those interested, I've now added all Apple II Summer Games (and Summer Games II) events, Winter Games events and California Games events to the site. Not the best versions of these games, but still fun. Cheers!
Really bad port of this game..
oops... not sure what happened with the multiple image uploads here...
Avoid the Buffalo Stampede for as long as possible before your envitable death... My eyes were bugging out when the game became harder and more buffalo stampeded on screen. If I had to guess, this was written in basic... Cheers!
Close to making it to level 4, but the difficulty jumps fast from level 2 to 3 just like all of the other console and cpu versions. This is one of the best if not the best versions of this game. Cheers!
Beat my score so it pushes me to play this one again I'm sure Dugger will have his revenge in time and best my score if you don't.
Feels and looks identical to the TurboGrafx-16 version. I almost ended with the same score I hit earlier on the T16 version. Top 10 best shmups in my opinion. It's near to impossible to finish level 9 once you lose your powerups. Cheers!
I believe I was one boss kill away from passing the high score, but just couldn't pull it off. Great shooter!
I will in time. The only 2600 game I really wanted to play again was Empire Strikes Back. Bowling is the other one I'll try soon. I'll see if I can beat your Bowling scores
I've played Seawolf quite a few times and also Seafox. This game feels like a Hybrid of those games. That was only the 2nd time I played, very fun!
Oh, this was emulated with MAME v.183, dip switch settings are displayed in the first few seconds of the video.
I had to look this one up as I thought there was an original "Seawolf" cartridge released on the 2600. Nope, but this home brew version is really good. You inspired me to check it out!
Great home brew! Wish we had games of this quality on the 2600 back in the day. Cheers!
No highscore table, score displays at end of game play as above. Cheers, great arcade port!
Another really good arcade port on this system.
For real? Big props as this game is damn tough. We played this all the time as kids and I had one hell of a time breaking 2000pts now
Great arcade port of this game!
Fair enough Boot, I should have read further to see you guys are buddies and live together. Just know that in the time you've spent posting messages here, you could have created 50 YouTube accounts (it takes all of 2 minutes to do so) or maybe, god forbid, even played a few games Banshee is a lucky guy to have such a nice friend as yourself to voice his concerns.
The majority of us, including myself trust Dugger's judgement as he has been an active user on this site for quite a while, he posts legit scores with legit evidence, and like myself, he's here to have fun. When he calls someone out, it's pretty obvious there's an issue or concern.
Yep, it's unfortunate...
Yes from me! Good score man!
No highscore table in this game, screenshot above is my final death. This is one hard shooter. Cheers!
This version is so much better than the Atari port. It feels more like the Atari 800 version. Cheers!
Oh wow, cool. That machine reminds me of Tecmo Bowl, large, multiple screens. I'm not entirely sure if Hyperspace has any affiliation with 1UP. Next time I've over at the Blake street bar I'll ask. How much did you sell the Darius machine years ago? I had a Popeye upright and Arkanoid Cocktail but sold them in the late 90s. I now wish I held onto those, but had no room for them at the time.
Another one I played a bit as a kid. I remember seeing this one everywhere.. 7-11s, Arcades, etc. Cheers!
Damn dude, your killing it! Looks like the NO trolls are back..
Ditto, this guy is an obvious troll. He's been a member on the site since early on but has a low user score, bitches and moans in the forums, just unneccessary drama for someone not very active on this site. Read his message history @ http://highscore.com/profile/messagehistory.php?u=88 ... It's obvious he gets off on starting sh1t. In his most recent forums post, he essentially called us Greedy, Selfish cheaters... Lastly, check out this video on his YouTube Channel.. is he "theDarkBanshee", and why would he have that on his channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CK6n8n0ZKZs Is he "TheDarkBanshee"? Confused...
Really fun shmup! The end boss has more hit points than any other boss I can remember in any game... Cheers!
That 1st place score is close to being sketch. 84% vote... no video.. he did include an input link so I guess that's legit.
Very odd, fun, side scroller where you take a ton of damage no matter what you do. I'm sure there is a pattern to the madness if you play this 200+ times... Cheers!
Nice work Jes!
Nice Omar, I think I might have seen that video or something similar before. They should re-do, or re-release the game and use that guitar version.
Nice one! I'm surprised I was the only one who had posted a score for this game. You need to up your score on the US Contra game now.
Looks like your video is private...
Not really impressive, I only played it twice all though I did play this at the arcade back in the day and on the Atari 800. Either of us could double or triple this score with an hour or 2 of practice.
No doubt practice will help, that's obvious but I thank you for the advice
Ha! Yep, If I'm wearing a hat, it's a Yankees hat. I'm a die-hard baseball nut, Yankees and Rockies being my teams. This game was rough... the score popped up at the end for 5 seconds, just long enough to grab a quick photo.
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. Star Wars upright machine with an Empire Strikes Back marquee.... Cheers!
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. Huge machine, one I don't remember ever playing in the arcade. Cheers!
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. At one time I could cruise through this game and beat it on one credit. Those brain cells are long gone.. it was great to play this again, felt just like 1984 again minus the Pony hightop sneakers.
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado.
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado.
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. This was the upright version of Spy Hunter. The left trigger buttons weren't working making this very tough to shift and fire at the same time. I didn't have time to show my id card as it quickly displays the score then goes to demo mode. Cheers!
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. I thought I took a picture of the actual Zaxxon cabinet but must have had a brain fart and forgotten.
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. Not even close to Ichigo's Highscore, but fun as hell to play this machine again.
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. Great machine! Next time I'm at this arcade, I'm going to play this one a lot more. Thanks!
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. Forgot how tough this game was... button mashing hell. Thanks!
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. It was good to play a shmup at an actual arcade for once. This machine was solid. Cheers!
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. Great machine, the control dial and buttons all worked like new. I don't actually remember playing this one in the arcade back in the day. Cheers!
Played at Hyperspace Arcade in Denver, Colorado. Decent machine, joysticks needed some maintenance, otherwise it was great to play this one in an arcade. Cheers!
I played this one a bunch as a kid on the Atari 800. Fun platformer, and fun to revisit. Cheers!
Thought I'd throw my pants in the ring and try this out. Highscore is at: https://youtu.be/VgnLMrlx0tk?t=6m39s 6m39s.
Fun game, but too damn easy. My character commited suicide on night 36 as I was bored and saw no end to this game in sight. Cheers!
Default settings are set to start at Night 3. Once again, this is another one I played quite a bit of as a kid. Cheers!
Awesome, post some scores dude. If you find any games not listed that you want to check out send requests. I'll try to add them ASAP.
Pretty basic Galaga clone and harder than it looks. Cheers!
Yes vote of course from me! How in the hell did someone vote NO on this? Almost 3 hours of play and more than enough evidence.
I wonder if Colleen also emulates the 5200 as that system's games are mostly identical to the Atari 8-Bit? Seeing how wonky emulating the 5200 is on the PC and most other platforms, I'm not surprised this isn't supported yet on the Android.
Beginner level is just a tad easier than 'Standerd' level, yep, that's the spelling of Standard in the game. This is a long play. I was able to make it through all levels. Cheers!
MK is one game I haven't touched in quite a long time. One of these days I'll see if I can beat some of your records I played that and NBA Jam a ton in college.
I still enjoyed playing this one. It was a nice change of pace.
Video is private...
No high score table though it asks for your initials. This feels like a mediocre shooter that they just put the Operation Wolf name on. Sad it wasn't more similar to the original or even Thunderbolt. Cheers!
The rocket pack lizard guy needed to advance to board 2 of each level was no where to be seen. I played this a # of times never seeing him... This was the best I could pull off in my wait. Cheers!
This game takes the cake for most original... Note the toilets in the screenshot above
Is this emulated or original hardware? If hardware, include a pic of the machine.
What recording quality do you have set in OBS? I use "Indistiguishable Quality, Large File Size". I also record 60 fps. It looks like you are doing 144p, hence the bad video. In setttings -> video, fudge around with the Output settings and I'm sure you will get this looking better.
Repost due to YouTube's "Shaky Video Fix" that ended up cropping the video oddly.
Wow, 2 no voted without a comment as to why... Are we back to this now cowards?
Well aware, but this one is all yours for now. I'll wait for my score to get voted through before reposting my new high score
Yuck.. one of the low end ports of this game.. None the less, I'm posting my medicore best score. Cheers!
Nice score dude, I figured you would come back and beat my score. I'll be back
Ha, I decided to play it a few more times and got this score. In the process, I deleted what I though was my previous MAME video from Youtube, but it was the Atari 5200 video post from earlier. I had all ready deleted the video evidence so I had to play that version again. Ended up beating my previous score by 10k+. Cheers dude!
I figuered it was the camera.. there's no way you would set the high score with the screen going black like that.
For a sec I thought I beat the high score with my 28,000 score.... Question, why does your screen go black, then display game, then back to black? I'll revisit this again down the road in attempt to beat your score...
I just messaged him. If you want to hold off re-posting your scores and wait to see if we can recover your 101 account, that would be great. This may take a while, he's super busy but we might catch him at a good time.. I'll keep you posted.
On my list
Oh man, couldn't remember the original password? I can contact the admin if you want to hold off from re-posting in hope we can recover your password....
I'm embarassed of the way this ended.. Slammed right into the first wall
Glad I could help Omar, I tried this game a few weeks ago and didn't do very well... Cheers dude, later.
That's great, glad you got it working. Try this for Jungle Hunt https://goo.gl/AzLCb8
Cool, making progress. Keep playing with it, the Atari 8-bit can be a bit tricky. What is the file extension of Jungle Hunt? .atr or .car?
Grabs these.. http://marc-abramowitz.com/download/atari/OSRoms/
You may need to rename them to whateve Colleen is looking for, but these should work for you. Good luck buddy!
I did a quick google search, check out: http://users.uoa.gr/~knakos/atari800/android/
Cool, hope that works out for you. I never did like Fraps, used it back in the early days of that app to record my MOHAA and COD PC game plays and had so many issues... OBS is free, stable, and updated frequently. https://obsproject.com/download
Try OBS to record videos. I never have issues, super easy to use and it streams to Twitch if you need it.
I did horrible in this, but it was my best score for now. Again, no pattern to the aligators, the timing and pixel perfect knife placement to kill them is just too much. When they do release an emulator for the Atari 8-Bit on your Android, you are going to have fun playing all these.
I think I've now played and posted scores for every port of this game.
Fun little Frogger clone set in Medieval times.
Only two boards in this version, the 1st and 4th were the two ported. Another one I played quite a few times as kid. Cheers!
This is the cartidge version of Seafox. For some odd reason the disk version doesn't allow you to fire forward, I've tried everything. Instead it fires 3 quick torpedos upwords when you hold the button down. This is the true version of Seafox, one up torpedo at a time and ability to fire forward by holding the button down. The Apple II and C64 controls match this cartridge version. Another one I played a ton as kid!
Awesome score dude, all I remember of this game was the Saturday morning cartoon show they had based on it.
Just like the Paperboy, time to call it quits.. on this game anyways. Cheers!
The score is really 208.1, but since the site score doesn't allow for decimals, I entered the game in thousands as is done with other Winter and Summer games scores here.
One of the better shooter's on this system. This is game play on Training Level 1. There are 3 Training levels and a "Real War" level. Cheers!
Score was 208.1 in-game, but I wasn't able to add decimals in my submission form. My favorite event in this game!
Not a very good port of this game.. It might be the emulator, but the game doesn't really feel like Hang-On.
This game has no sound... I played the Commodore 64 first stage music in loop while I played as it was boring as hell without it. Cheers!
Yep, this is Sega's version of Final Fight I guess. It's been a while since I've played, but I remember it being fun.
Cool, I'll have to check out Winston, don't remember seeing that one anywhere in my ST emulator search. Steem works great with OBS, Hatari was a hunk of &$%#@!
What ST Emulator are you using? I've been using STEEM latelty.. Hatari was giving me issues when playing full screen. I need to replay this easy level again I guess... you doubled my score :)
Yep, brings out the best game play.. but, I won't be reposting new high scores for this one or Rampage until the current scores get voted through. I've had enough Rampage and Last Resort for a while...
Just reclaiming the belt for this one... and following your lead. You've cracked quite a few my of recent scores... revenge!
Lucky round, a ton of things went my way. Check out http://replay.marpirc.net/r/rampage ... First time I've come across this site, but it looks like quite a few gamers have us both beat. I was curious to see what the actual world record but couldn't find anything. I checked out Twin Galaxies as well http://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?platformid=2&keyword=Rampage Looks like reaching 150k or so is doable which blows my mind...
Cool, welcome to the site dude. What app are you using to record your vids?
Don't forget to set your initials on your profile page. Cheers!
Cool, the same happened to me on that rock stage, really tough compared to the other ports.
Nice, I'm a little rampaged out at the time but will try again soon. I've played just about every port of this game in the last few weeks, one of my favorites!
How far did you get? I tried this the other night and almost cleared the 1st level. I didn't want to post a score until I at least made it through it once.
Very nice, cool to see that Mr. Miyagi ending again after so many years! Wax on, Wax off
Congrats DK! Next time I'm back home to visit my family in New York, I'm going to have to hit the Swillburger arcade there to play this again. I've been to a # of arcades over the years and the one I played and set the previous high score on is the only Kangaroo machine I've seen since the 80s. Cheers!
Oops, added my game play video twice some how.. great port of this game!
None of the skills I obtained delivering newspapers as a teen helped in my game play... but I did play this game quite a bit at the arcade and on the Sega Game Gear. Not the worst port, but damn good for this system.
Surprisingly fun port of Rampage. Controls are a bit stiff, but still very playable and fun.
Yep, my "avoid the gators" technique won't score me points... I was hoping to complete the game twice as that would put me up there, but that damn gator level second time around is very tough.
This was the best I could do on quite a few tries. It seems much more challenging than Jungle King.
On hard this game is insane. I some how was able to clear all of the towers and manuever in to destroy the Death Star. Great over-all port, it's now my favorite next to the arcade version. Cheers!
This game tops my list of best ports of the Star Wars arcade game. Very fun, and looks really good!
Not bad, but I enjoy the Amiga version more. This game lacks the in-game sounds the Amiga version has and instead plays a sounds track for each board level. Still fun, Cheers!
I guess I should have played this a bit more. I think I'm using CPCE as my emulator as I too had issues with WinApe and video recording. You are on a roll beating my high scores buddy!
Nice one, and yep, those snakes on the last island were a pain.
One of the better looking ports of this game, and it included all 4 board levels. Unfortunatly the controls are garbage. The last jump to land from the fish on the 4th board is near to impossible. I had to throw in the towel due to frustration... Cheers!
Really tough port of Operation Wolf. Cheers!
Is that the final boss at the end? I beat this back in the day, but can't remember how it ends.
I really could have played this until it flipped, had to die on purpose at the end. Props to whomever grinds this out for 8 hours to hit 999,999
Yes Vote from me! Love that game!
I'll check that out, thanks!
Thanks Omar! Do you have a GBA emulator?
Really fun port of Rampage. Plays well, good sound, etc. The only issue was the 3 player default configuration that is set, by default, to include 2 other human players. I set the other 2 players to in-active. Cheers!
This port is so much better than the Activision one. Plays like the arcade, very fun! Cheers!
This is the original Activision release of Rampage. Garbage controls...
Awesome port! Played on default difficulty 3. Cheers!
Good arcade port but it seems to play a tad faster... Cheers!
I accidentally hit the Start button twice during this as the X button is very close to it on my Xbox 360 pad and the fire directions use the 4 pad buttons. Very tough game, plays/looks identical to the arcade. Cheers!
I just noticed this one is listed as well... Looks like HAL entered the wrong score, but it was still voted through...
The difficulty level goes from zero to a hundred when you hit level 3. As with the other versions of this game on other consoles, the current and traffic gets to be insane. Cheers!
Yep, I'm not very good at this game. I'm sure I'd do better playing the actual arcade game with the light gun.
This one is probably not for you then. I bought it just to try something new. No gripes yet, feels the same as a the Xbox 360 pad, just smaller in size. I did a few google searches to see what others have to say about it, and just like always, these millenials are all complaining and bitching about it, even without ever trying it
Oh, the D-Pad.Yeah, it's good. I like the Xbox 360 D-pad better as it's one round pad as opposed to the old directional. This controller is supposed to mesh the best of the current day pads with the best of the 90's pads.
Yep, I can't remember ever running out time on the NES or Arcade version on the 1st level. It's a weird port, not all that enjoyable and zero replay value.
I'm not sure what you are asking '+'? But it feels like a Xbox 360 pad, lighter, but solid.
Fun little game. This was the first game I played with my new Hyperkin X91 controller.
Dugger, probably a stupid question, but does it matter what team we select to use and go up against? I played this many, many times in the day, it was kind of my gateway to being a hockey fan and learning the game.
Works fine with me, no issues.
LT, are you able to add new Sharp X68000 requests? I can remove this and resubmit it under Beginner if you wish. The four levels are "Beginner", "Senior", "Expert" and "Junior".
I probably won't touch any more Atari 2600 games, Empire Strikes Back was really the only one I wanted to replay. The 5200 is limited when it comes to emulation on the PC. I use MAME to emulate the 5200 and load the games via LaunchBox.
