Thank you @Rickster8, @LuigiRuffolo, @Hauntedprogram, @Larquey, @DtM2000
Yes! I love this game, so fun and playable
Thank you guys!

A simple but very effective game.
Thanks a lot guys!
@Rickster8 @Larquey @AkinNahtanoj
Thanks @Rickster8 @Frankie @RetroRob @AkinNahtanoj
You are fast!
I've had the idea to play this on the real speccy too but you were faster
I hope you enjoyed the game, I think it's great, like a modern Ghouls'n'Ghosts
Its graphics seem very similar to those from Willy the Wasp, maybe it was produced by the same people
Games from the early era have a kind of a charm
Thanks for all your votes!
Pretty good game, don't you think?
11 stages cleared
Some animals were kicked and punched during the recording of this game, I hope it was a stunt
Yepp, that font is a bit crazy.
Sorry Hauntedprogram, I thought that the video was visible. I've fixed it and now it is public.
Thanks for the vote
Thank you guys
Does a GB version of TumblePop exist? I had no idea
Thank you Larquey and WDD
1000 points at 7:33
Thanks @WDD and @Mark
And screen looks great in the video, my webcam is terrible at recording my crt screen
Thank you, Mark
Youtube retired the video with almost no explanation. An appeal is under way and I hope they will restore it.
I think life would be happier if the game ended when you kill the final boss
Thank you for voting!
Video is cut a bit too soon, before reaching 21,950 points
No problem though, the score was almost there and we have the picture as evidence anyway.
Thank you, Mark!
Thank you for pointing my mistake with the other score, Sixx
I've improved my best score a bit and this time I send it to the right category (emulated).
You are right!
I will delete and repost in the right category
Addictive game, don't you think?
Thank you Larquey!
Thanks @Emmbo and @RetroRob
Good score! Voting yes
Another nice game! This is a dark horse, but I found it quite correct and very playable. It can be played by 2 players coop, and has a level editor too.
Another yes vote here
This game is great! I think there is not much talk about it nowadays because of its release in the last months of the commercial life of the Speccy
Welcome to Highscore!
You don't need to wait for approval before sending more of them, that can take quite time so, please do so.
Now that you have the hang of this site, I think you could set your initials to MPI to match this and other future scores.
Pengo turned into a bear!
When the game jumps into main menu inmediately when dead is harder to grab the evidence, I find it a bit annoying but is not a big deal
Game start at 7:55
Death at 34:35
Sorry, that is the best I can get from my webcam. The video is a bit dark and it's very hard to see at times. To get a clear picture of the score I started a new game after that one and then made a photo with the mobile camera and enhanced tv brightness. You can see at the end of the video how I pause the game to prepare for this shot.
I'll have to check this game
Good evidence, voting yes!
I had the idea to upload a score for this game but you beat me to it
Well done, Emmbo!
Score seems ok too
Thank you, Larquey and Emmbo!
Thank you, Emmbo!
When I record my scores, the TV set gives me a lot of trouble because the camera receives too much light. I've tried to set brightness lower then default and video seems to improve a bit.
Anyway, voting yes
I also think that the ZX Spectrum category should be reserved for the original machines, I'll vote yes to this score if you resend it to the ZX Spectrum emulated.
Not a bad game at all
One of my first games, I think it's great
Ok, let's say the formula is (Lives+1)*Money then. It would be great if score description could be fixed, but at least it's here in the comments.
In this game, keys are QAOP space, an usual control layout, maybe you mean the jumping mechanics. Those are quite hard to use well, indeed.
I've heard of this game, it's on my "games to try" list, even if it's quite old
I had it on a tape back then and played it a lot, a bit too much speed is not very much an issue when you compare it to other games from the time
I think you have cut the video a second too fast to feature the final score
Voting yes anyway
Thanks Frankie, it's not that hard to complete. I quite enjoy beating whatever the game anyway.
This game looks very very similar to the Spectrum version, you know, like two drops of water
BTW Emlyn Hughes International Soccer rocks
I record my games on old Speccy once in a while but I use a webcam, as my old TV is side to side to the PC. Sadly, I don't get great image quality, though :(
@Frankie voting yes!
High score run at 00:48
Game over at 7:00
Man, I love this game. I've just played it on the Speccy, but the CPC version seems as good as that one. The tunes are really atmospheric
Awesome score, congrats!
A new face playing ZX Spectrum? You are most welcomed here!
Haha, I'm glad you tried the game after all that talk, I hope you liked it
Thank you Larquey and TurboJoe
No, I had not seen those. I'll go and edit my video and maybe I play some other modes too.
Hmm, this one doesn't look bad
Voting yes ofc.
Wow, awesome score!
Good job Frankie!
While some Spectrum games were just clones or conversions, others tried to stand out in originality, like this one.
Baz, you do need to clean your camera lens
It seems you've been busy with the letter F games
I wonder if there is a lot of people here who can get a score in a game named as themselves
Don't know if I'm making a mistake, but I would say that it shows that the final score is actually 730
Absolutely! Even in 2019, I 've had a very good time while playing it.
I'm doing my part!
It seems a nice game.
I vote yours too, even when laziness prevents me from posting a comment on every voted score.
@Frankie, a Combat School gameplay actually is featured in the video at 22:00 more or less.
@zeus1: Rules: Game must be played on the actual hardware. Play with default settings unless otherwise specified. 1 credit. No continues. 1 player mode only. No hacks or cheat codes.
Sorry but if you play by the rules, you can't play a 2 player game.
Also, you don't show a glimpse of your actual spectrum hardware settings. You could just upload at least a picture of the real deal. At first glance it could seem that is played over an emulator.
Anyway, please don't give up sending scores, this site could really use more speccy scores.
Thank you Omar!
Don't know if it's my monitor but the score can hardly be read. Would you please check it doesn't happen next time Omar?
My tape back in the day had some issue and it didn't load well no matter which tape loading voodoo I tried
Fortunately, emulation gave me the chance to play it
I didn't know that there were sequels to Altered Beast. This game doesn't look better than the original to me, though.
I mean, it's not a world record, and although he had not set his initials yet, it's the beginning of his nick
Good job on the massive number of scores you have sent recently
Taking back some top scores?
Voting yes, of course.
Well done Frankie!
I found that in advanced levels you depend a lot on luck. Sometimes there is no path you can go through, and you can do nothing about it. If the bug doesn't kill you, it does time running out.
Welcome to Highscore.com, Piginapoke1! Nice to see new faces around.
For newcomers, making their first uploaded score legit can be a bit troublesome...
You need to make as easy as possible for other people to know that the scores in the video or screenshot are truly yours. In this case, your nick (Piginapoke1) doesn't match with the name on the high score table (Robin)
You could try to set your initials to something similar to your name or use an avatar picture that is the same as the one in the screenhots... every step in that direction can help to improve the votes you'll get.
If you get to vote other people scores you will likely see examples and maybe you understand better that procedure. I don't think anybody here wants to play detective on your score to determine if it is legit (even if it actually is), so the stronger the evidence, the better results your scores will get.
Good luck and happy gaming!
Thanks Rob! Yes, it's quite fun, the ZX Spectrum version of Snow Bros
Do you know if Oil Panic can also be emulated the same way?
@galaxian77 cool avatar btw
Nice to know it didn't had the Y2K bug
Lol, the corrupted digit guide is absolutely crazy! (in the positive way)
Thanks Frankie. One of the things I like from this game, besides its superb graphics, it's that it's very easy to complete if you know what to do with the objects. I read a guide for this game in a magazine when I was a kid, even before I had the chance to play it. Some weeks later when I finally had a go, I totally loved it. It seems like many years later I still remember it
You have in this same website awesome achievements much much more difficult than this
Welcome to HS
I like games that don't require you to train for years to be able to complete it
Seems like it is Pipemania, but released under a different name for some reason. It is pretty fun indeed.
Wow, I didn't know that Dizzy games reached the NES too.
The score looks a bit blurry. Also, if your best score is not at the end of the video you could mention its timestamp for the ease of the people checking your score
Voting yes anyway.
Well done Rob!
The biggest difference I see between the two of them is the presence of enemies. In the first Arkanoid you don't need to worry about them but on the other hand, in Batty they are a constant nuisance.
Despite those pesky b***s, for me this game seems a bit funnier to play somehow
Sorry to hear that :(
Interesting fact of the day :)
You finally did it and gameplay in your video looks good. Well done!
Sorry GTibel but, what happens then with the guy that posted a score before you? He posted his score as a regular number.
If the score has to be posted x10, it should be stated in the game description or somewhere, not just in your score post that happened afterwards. Maybe I'm missing something?
If an admin could change his score to 30 instead of 3 then it would be perfectly OK to post your score x10 too.
The game is great, but you must be a bit crazy to play this game 7 hours in a row
I don't think anyone will ever try to beat that.
Yes vote here!
You could expect an interesting game with that name, but I remember to be really disappointed when I first played it. Not too bad but I found the gameplay too dull and tedious to spend much more time on it.
I like this game a lot, Perry and Bruty knew very well how to put colours into a speccy game
Thanks! I've just tried it... It's pretty simple but it's not bad at all. I'm still too bad at playing it to get near to the second part though.
Difficulty set on hard. You can tell by the board size.
Difficulty set on normal. You can tell by the board size.
Voting yes of course!
I didn't know this game.. it is fun?
Difficulty level set on fair as seen at the start of the video
Difficulty level set on hard as seen at the start of the video
This game is actually much more fun than I remembered
I didn't know that Skool Daze had a C64 version
More like 7:30
I see. I didn't understood very well what did you mean with all that time stamps.
This game looks very similar to Joust
ZilchSr, the score is not 27200??
I guess you got a C64 emulator on a Super Nintendo?
Cool if you did
It doesn't hurt to have initials set.
Voting yes anyway
Mistery of the Nile is also known as "El misterio del Nilo" in Spain
You're right. I bought a modern Spectrum to TV scart cable in an online shop and the screen looks much better now :)
This should be in the non emulated section, right?
I was close to complete the game but I couldn't find the third key fragment :(
95% - 24 min = 71
BTW I love Star Control 2 too!
Yes, this game has a strong resemblance to Joe & Mac, nice you commented on that. Accepting score
Awesome scores you have sent!
Well done Hyeron!
Shortened youtube links don't seem to work in this site. You can try the long URL your browser display after the video was loaded.
By the way, the score seems OK to me, voting yes
Voted yes, but I think admins should merge Thunder Force II and Thunder Force 2 as the same game
Thank you @Buttons , @retrogaminginvaders and @JES
A bit blurry but voting yes
I forgot to mention that this game has a bug and you can't kill the final boss
This one is not that good, I like the original Yie Ar Kung Fu better.
[00:00 - 00:13] -> Setting difficulty level on expert
16:05 -> Start of high score run
30:16 -> Game over, end of high score run
yes to all !
Yes to all, Ed!
Rollover at 19:29
99 red ballons song, cool!
Interesting, I need to try this game Sadly it doesn't seem to have music in the Speccy
You more than doubled your former score. Good job Mark!
This game looks very much weird
Hmm, not sure about that. I've tested it just now and it seems that in both modes the timer starts counting down at 999 and in both cases it reaches 0 after 2m 06s more or less.
I've not played that much in expert, still don't know what is the difference between expert and novice and if there is any element in the gameplay that can establish that is expert mode.
Maybe others like @Frankie or @GTibel know something more.
Cool! Thanks Frankie
Yes, it is from a Spanish homebrew group called Computer Emuzone Games Studio (CEZGS)
They also released a homebrew game very similar to bust-a-move/puzzle bobble, that I plan to upload here someday.
Hey Frankie, what kind of hardware do you use to load the games? A DivMMC? DivIDE?
I would like to get one ot these too
Rollover at 15:00
Ivanstorm voted before there was actually a picture of the score, that was fast
Thanks @Bamse, @RetrogamingInvaderes
Next time I'll need to remember to use the option for lighter backgrounds
Voting yes this time, but please don't forget to include an identification
I love Mozart
Voting your Angry Birds scores.
Yes to all
Hey Darrin, I think I've got a new HighScore belt thanks to me voting your myriad CC scores. There are lots of them
Voting yes again, and again, and again...
By the way, you could check if you have voted every of my scores. There are just a few compared to yours. I think I've earned it
Well, given that most mobile users don't identify their screenshots at all, this signed screen is a treasure
Voting all your play1 scores, Omar.
Voted all your play2 scores
Please vote my ZX Spectrum emulated scores if you can
Makes sense for me, voting yes
I knew that game as "New Zealand Story". Maybe they used Kiwi Craze in the U.S.?
Thanks for putting an identification!
Blurry but voting yes anyway
Good job Hyeron!
Well done! Yes from me
Yes from me
Imperial units [facepalm]
Anyway, voting yes
An Android score with a clear identification!
... neverending Draconian scores
Oh my! How many Draconian scores left??
Voting yes on all
Nice play and good evidence
You plan to finish every Dizzy game, don't you??
Score at 20:30
Nice memories! Should replay it too :)
It's a yes.
Guys, my scores could use some votes too
Score at 14:20
"Estás frito" in Spanish means literally "You are fried" (in the way French fries are), an informal way to say Game over
GTibel, I’m honored for your words. I played this game to death as a kid. I used to partner with a friend and we actually reached and killed the final boss. Now playing alone, some screens seem too nasty to beat without the help of a second player.
Maybe it's a good idea to add a watermark, I'll research it a bit
Sorry, the card with my initials looks very dark in the final screenshot, but it can be noticed clearly throughout the video.
Also, at the end I show the hardware, my precious, top-notch Spectrum +2
It was one of the first games I got for the Speccy when I was a teen.
Thank you GTibel!
This game doesn't ask for your initials. In the YouTube video title is stated that I'm the player.
