The score rolls over to 0 at 1000000 so I died intentionally at the end so it would be on the screen. I don't know what it shows after one million.

One of my favorites! I will have to see if I can still play it... Warp activated!

Is that actually a good score? I had only played the game a few times (Root Beer Tapper) in the 80s when it first came out, but played a few dozen games on this one to try to win the contest. I figured I just had to be better than all the others who also didn't know how to play. I figured out you could get over 6000 points on the first screen just by milking it as long as you could (around that point, it goes too fast for me to keep up with). By doing that on the first few screens, you can make a ton more points than you would if you just rush through. I still want to spend some time recording how much you can easily make on each screen before it goes too fast to keep up with.

Oh, and the Space Invaders there is in a Deluxe cabinet, but it's the original Space Invaders.

Wow, I didn't realize there was a second Frogger made. It was for the Starpath add on hardware that loaded games off of cassette. I remember seeing ads for it but never saw one. Wild being able to still learn about 2600 games I missed.

On a real Atari, you could hold down reset as your powered up and it would give you double shots... I wish the arcade had a way to do that!

Yeah, they started out taking pictures for each high score - I had a picture with TRON and a picture with Tapper. But after that, they realized they would run out of space, so they just group them on the Wall of Fame. Now that I am using this site, I will see about posing with the screen shots like they recommend. Sadly, Space Invaders was taken out so unless the other place has theirs fixed, I guess that's as high as I'm getting.

Owning the game gives you an advantage, so I won't make beating this one a goal :)

I stopped by on my way home from work almost every day to play a few games trying to relearn how to play TRON. It was my favorite arcade game in the 80s and I hadn't really seen one since 1985 other than finding one at an amusement park now and then.
