I need to dig this one out and play it on real hardware. I usually do better playing with a paddle than I do with a mouse.

I decided to try just that, yesterday, to no avail. After some splicing to produce a working power cord, my 2600 just shows a black screen, and my 7800 won't power on. Exploratory surgery reveals no obvious faults, but both are non-functional. Very tragic and mysterious. Perhaps I'll try again when my patience for faulty electronics has returned, but I used it all up for now.
